Louis
http://www.uefa.com/...4619/index.html Hallam Hope and John Lundstram played the full 90 minutes in a 2-1 win over Spain last week. (Bit late) It looks like they'll be called up to play in the UEFA U-17 competition in Serbia next month. Hope has scored 4 goals in 6 appearances. Ian C
Really liking what I'm hearing about Hallam Hope, he seems to be doing very well. Find any highlights, Lou?
Louis
I couldn't find anything, it wasn't even shown online. I'd have thought Eurosport would have covered it.

Steve_E
I must say I wouldn't expect Hope or Lundstram in the first team any time soon.
Louis
Why's that? Who has impressed you in the competition ?
Steve_E
It's not that they in particular looked bad or something. I only saw that one game against Holland and I don't think any of those 22 players were ready to shine in the Premier League. Also, I read that article where the Danish coach said that the English youngsters now have good technical abilities, but if I compare them (on the base of that one game of course) to the Dutch, they really didn't look that good at all. I did like Rekik and Kongolo by the way. Two Dutch central defenders. Play for Feyenoord. Edited May 13, 2011 by Steve_E
Louis
Netherlands won the tournament beating Germany 5-2 in the final. Everton's John Lundstram named in team of the tournament by UEFA.com journalists: John Lundstram (midfielder, England) With a whiff of the Steven Gerrard about him, the Everton FC midfielder possesses a biting tackle and was always keen to take the ball off his defence, displaying a fine range of passing to instigate attacks, usually finished off by finals top scorer, fellow Toffee Hallam Hope. The official team of the tournament to be announced.
