Louis
Howard says he'd like to retire at Everton if possible. No arguments from me, he must have at least another six years in him. He's the best keeper we've had since Nigel Martyn. “I would like to finish my career here,” “Unfortunately there is always a business side to football - everyone understands that - but as far as I am concerned, if Everton will have me, I am staying put.”
Romey 1878
Underwhelming, to say the least.

Quinn31
I hope he is true to his word. Every time he is interviewed by the American media, they always ask him about coming back to the MLS and he always seems very open and interested to the idea. We'll see. Louis
Same happens with Cahill, he has said he wants to end his career at the A-League when Australian media asks him.
smeghead1
He could still go and play in the MLS when hes 38, so weve got him for a few years yet!

I wouldn't mind him ending his career in the MLS, but I want him to be here for the rest of the prime of his career.

Blue 250
Howards had a good season for us. If I had to pick three players this season who have done "the business", I'd go with Howard, Baines and Coleman. Others have done what was expected of them, some have been only average and some poor. But those three (Howard, Baines and Coleman) come out top for me. I'd have thought the only keepers in the prem better than him are on way better money, so maybe he's the best we can afford. Either way, great season (so far ) Mr Howard, same again for the next three or four seasons please!!
