Just what we need . we've hardly kept a clean sheet all season and let in too many goals off set pieces, Weir was a brilliant defender and I'd be very happy to see him back here passing on some of his experience. marcopaulo
as great as weir was for us and as much as i loved him as a player and captain..it seriously isn't what we need the reason we let in too many goals is cos we play too defensively and invite teams onto us..you can't do that anymore even the poorer teams are dangerous Edited March 22, 2011 by marcopaulo
Louis
Strange article for the official site to report.. Weir was excellent. Walter Smith's finest signing.

smeghead1
He lives in Lymm funny my mate cleans his wheelie bin hates football and rang me to ask who he was! Apparently hes a sound bloke tho! Id take him as a coach anyone who is still playing at 40 and lifting trophies must have a few ideas they can pass on. Weir never had pace and relied on positioning if he could pass that on it'd be priceless!
c1982
What a great pro! I for one would welcome him back with open arms. Just because he's a centre back it doesn't mean that's how he'd coach a team to play plus he's kept himself fit enough to play consistently at the 'highest level' into his 40's, not many can say that!
