Romey 1878
Anyone believe that this has been done to keep Arsenal away! It might be aimed at showing that but contracts mean fuck all. But I'm sure he's happy with a payrise and an extra year after having a pretty poor season. It's nice to see we're rewarding success . duncanmckenzieismagic
I think its a good move, hopefully wards off interest from Arsenal and keeps him here until here is 33 If the contact had been longer people would have complained about him being too old to justify it
Louis
The contract was fine as it was, it expired when he was 32 He signed for us in July 2007 (expired 2012) He agreed extension in May 2009 (expired 2014) He agreed another extension in March 2011 (expires 2015) Silly really. His originally contract wasn't even up!
