Louis
http://www.fifa.com/worldfootball/clubfootball/news/newsid=1395989.html Amid the glamour and entertainment of modern-day football, with its widespread television coverage and world-famous players, it is all too often easy to forget that careers in the game are usually short. rubecula
Speaking of yesterdays heros, the fact that Peter Reid is selling his FA Cup medal to help fund his club's survival is something that firmly puts him in the hero bracket for me. (Well he already was a hero to many Evertonians but this should be something that all football fans should acknowledge IMO)
