efcgenius
Hi Yet another rumour, we are going into administration, haha As far as I know we are in no debt so deosn't that rule out administration? Can anyone refute this rumour with some evidence, I don't believe it but yano these redshites have to be told to keep them quiet Thanks
FellainisHair
We are in £50m or so in debt. We had to take out a £10m or so loan at the start of the seaosn to pay off debt. Can;t see us in admin though,
SimonButtle
In some respects i kinda hope we do sort of go there because maybe it would finally get rid of BK, but more recently im starting to think the problem is actually more Moyes and not BK, so i hope its not true
efcgenius
Heard also that Neville is going in order to pay off some debt, is being 50 Million in debt enough to go into administration, or in comparison to all other premier clubs is that a normal amount to owe

SimonButtle
What would Neville go for if this is true? At his age now, not more than about 3-4m i would'nt have thought, he's hardly messi is he
StevO
Heard also that Neville is going in order to pay off some debt, is being 50 Million in debt enough to go into administration, or in comparison to all other premier clubs is that a normal amount to owe 50m could be enough if we were missing payments and didn't have the assets to clear the debts. The only off field assets we have is goodison, which I believe has a few mortgages against, as well as future takings. It prob won't happen but could do if things got worse. smeghead1
Its been pointed out to me that when it was announced that Bolton were 35 million in debt DM said he was shocked and that our club was being run really well, would he say that if our debt was that high? Plus we havent spent fcuk all on any players have we? Maybe were just surviving at the minute and thats why we havent 20 quid to buy anyone. StevO
I think I seen figure on here the other day saying our debt published in 2009 was around 38m Bolton have good conference facilities at the reebok, that will help with income. Am I wrong thinking they have a hotel there too?
Louis
Bolton are in a pretty bad financial position. This is from the Swiss Ramble's blog: http://swissramble.b...-much-debt.html

MikeO
"....it won't disappoint" according to Ian Prior at the Guarnirude. That wouldn't suggest that it's something negative would it?

ooberman
was about to say the same thing. aside from maybe Rodwell, I can't see anyone leaving for megabucks? also, i don't get why it's a Guardian exclusive, surely we'd hear at least a peep

Louis
I've discovered why people thought it was about Everton.. Dan Silver, a sports writer of the mirror jokingly said: "@ianprior Is it Everton? We're running that at 4.30pm, so might want to adjust your schedule " so people thought it was genuine.. Which caused someone to take it upon themselves to add: @DanSilverMirror you ever make a rumour up about everton again and ill be down to that shit hole london to fucking kill you. cheeky cunt
