Mirallas
myeah, Torres is impossible, Eto'o didn't sign a 1yrs contract at CFC to get loaned out, so those are indeed the options. I believe more in Lukaku, cause he's young and needs to be developed and thus a loan is more probable. Plus after the events in the European SuperCup I'd defo leave chelsea for another yr if I was him. If Chelsea would let Ba go, It'd be a sale. Simple as that. MikeO
How about we just agree terms for a striker (either Ba or Lukaku), and one of them just show up at the training ground. Everton sign surprise Chelsea striker on loan." It could be like a reality TV reveal....with the essential presenter thirty second pause (plus an ad break). Shukes
Ye more the 5 to 6 mil for me. Not a great all round player. Can score goals so wouldn't mind him, but would still be disappointed we didn't go for a Bony type.

Mirallas
I think Chelsea just really wanna use Lukaku in package deals to try and lure clubs into letting their stars go. Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund come to mind. They got Demba Ba lying around though and I think they think they can satisfy our Lukaku thirst with Ba. To be honest, I think Ba would fit in just fine here. He's more of a target man than Lukaku anyway, we got plenty of service coming from the wings with the wingbacks, Mirallas, McGeady,... Ba could be a good idea and EFC would be a good place for Ba. But I agree 10m is too ambitious from Chelsea's part. Put Thorgan Hazard in the deal and I'd consider. Steve_E
Would rather not to be honest. If we don't have anyone else on the deadline day, I'd be fine with it though. pete0
MC11
He's underrated but he not worth more than £4-5m because of his history of moving clubs and injury. Edited May 11, 2014 by MiguelCotto
markjazzbassist
Id take him. I think he would offer something and would be a good buy at that price with skmething to prove. Would probably move on after a good year but as long as we make our money back I'm fine with getting a mercenary like him.
Newty82
Yeah, I think he could do a job. £10mill is too much though. Certainly wouldn't do us any harm if the price is right.

Newty82
I'd still have him. He'd be good in our squad. He knows how to get into the right positions...and that's all we need up top!
Peter H
He would score plenty with service from Baines, Barkley, Coleman and Barry

Bailey
Does anyone know whether he is any good at holding up play and feeding in other players? I think he would finish off chances well enough but I'm not sure how well he will fit into the way we play.

EFC-Paul
When I've seen him play he seems to hold up play quite well and bring others into the mix didn't so much at Newcastle but the few times he's played for Chelsea he did Always thought he played well when given the chance and bewildered why he didn't get the nod before Torres and Co I'd definitely have him at the right price think he'd do well here

NyarkosLeftToe
That's one of the problems signing players from Chelsea and City, they're on such massive wages its hard to match them, I'd hope we got him on a deal where they pay a percentage
