Lowensda
has anyone watched Ba on more than one occasion? here's his goals from this season, I have to say, at least 3 i could scored/harder to miss. Is he that good? and is he worth this agro? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkKWp_Z7J9A

Lowensda
He missed several good chances against Wigan when I watched him. See thats my worry. I haven't seen anything the suggests clinical. Couple that with his dodgey knees; he'd be the bad hybrid of Saha and Beckford. Can score when given 300 chances and would literally snap if tackled. Optimism dwindling
Matt
the whole fuss is about the fact he is free. Thats it. I would rather have yak back than have this guy

duncanmckenzieismagic
I'm kindda glad this has finished. Move on, get someone better! We cant afford anyone better, thats why we were after him in the first place
Quinn31
There isn't anyone who is free that is better than Ba. It's too bad that we missed out on Klose (knew it was a long shot) and now Ba, who we realistically could've got. There's a saying in the U.S. , beggars can't be choosers, so Ba was about as good as we could do for free transfers... Sell Yak, Bily, Yobo, and consider selling Arteta, Heitinga and others if the right offers come in.

SimonButtle
No chance! Ba is probably going to be the hottest property in the league at the moment, this is our mythical pot of money from the end of the rainbow again.
Lowensda
Even IF it happened, you know our luck don't you? Glass knees will appear and he'll be as useful as fish out of water, guarding the white house, with an MP5, just flapping about like a Magicarp. Peter H
Loved this quote tho: "Would Liverpool interest Ba? I'm sure Everton wouldn't." Why would Ba want to compete with the other forwards at Liverpool when he would be almost guaranteed a place in the starting line up at Everton? He wont go anywhere tho. Hafnia
Fortunately the rack stopped us buying Mikel Forsell. I do like the talk of Ba, ahead of Campbell and Bothroyd most certainly. If he's all good on the medical then yep, go for it. His goals to games ratio is very eyecatching... Years Team Apps† (Gls)† 20052006 Rouen 26 (22) 20062007 Mouscron 12 (8) 20072011 1899 Hoffenheim 97 (37) 2011 West Ham United 12 (7) Indeed his goals to game ratio is more than exciting. Nice to see that good old Harry redknapp is acting as an agent for him "his buy out being less than £10m" - if I was a Newcastle fan I would be livid. That said, if we can get £6m for Bily then surely we ain't far off??? I just think the problem is his wages - wasn't he after £70k before going to the barcodes??? Hafnia
read on twitter release clause could be as low as 5m...amazing if true £15m short of what i would value him at. Reminds me of Drogba, he's class.
marcopaulo
never stood out for me at west ham but he certainly has class about him...not as powerful as drogba but the boy can finish
Lowensda
And he can take set-pieces, which is an added bonus, considering we only have the one.

Avinalaff
they are saying we may go for Ba, even though he won't be fit till april!! maybe its not kenwright that needs to go, its moyes! money or not, is moyes knowledge of football that limited that he can only find 1 loan player in the world, who is not even fit!! Lol. Don't ya hate it when that happens Pris?
Matt
Couldve had him for nothing except his 70k wage demands (and signing on fee) after only 4 months in the EPL and there were questions on his fitness.... Avinalaff
Why could we have had him for nothing? Did we have an agreement in place with him over a contract and pull out?
JamesSmurfy
if we got him moysey would be playing him in centre mid, doubt this will happen he seems happy enough where he is at the minute. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11678/7419959/PSG-would-appeal-to-Ba
