Dalziel Kane
Idiots slobbering over sunsets. The sky goes a 'nice' (don't like that word but thought it appropriate) color, sun slowly disappears over the horizon, and one or two people salivate other each other or foam at the mouth. Seen another damn sunsets, one's as good as the next. Didn't get excited or faint or anything. Purchasing tickets on public transport and wasting money also caused a significant amount of irritation. Nine times out of ten these pricks never show up, so why fucking do it. Got caught out once before though, so once bitten etc. Still seems like a waste of money, but better safe than sorry is one line of thinking. Zoo
Just the word sounds dodgy. 'Practical joke' is much better.
Dalziel Kane
Even the word 'dodgy' got me irritated, albeit for a very short time. Sounds like an attraction at an amusement park or something. These boring (music) satellite channels who keep showing the same damn tracks all the time, why do they do it, put something else on for a fucking change. Madness, One Step Beyond, in what must be the 26th time in as many hours. Still waiting to see some new acts. I think I'm going off this channel
MikeO
Fosters lager. Bought a box because it was cheap (£12 for twenty cans). If it was half that it'd be too expensive; horrible stuff. Never again. pete0

Dalziel Kane
Fosters is only 4 per cent ABV ? Stellar Artois would be an acquired taste, I can't abide the flavor of it and last tried, made me vomit. Red Stripe from Jamaica is recommended as a light drink. rubecula
fecking hate lager beer. In hot weather like a nice cider but really I prefer ales.
Dalziel Kane
Never been one for beer, only brands I may sample are Grolsch, Red Stripe, Fosters and Labatts. Cider is not for everyone (and can cause a whole host of issues with under age drinkers) but admit to having one or two every now and again. Just prefer the flavor to some other alcoholic beverages you could think of. They've introduced Stellar cider now but won't be buying. Just don't like the concept of it. Union or K is a good choice but be advised - not for lightweights

Dalziel Kane
It's the Belgian spelling surely, as that's where the drink originated from. Couldn't find a Flemish translation but it's that in French, so for a continental drink, seems good enough.
Zoo
Cider is not for everyone (and can cause a whole host of issues with under age drinkers) As opposed to other alcohol?
Dalziel Kane
Cider (from all that you can ascertain) would appear to be the instigator of belligerence and issues with some individuals. That awful shit you can puchase such as White Lightning, three liters for as many pounds, and kids (and others) can get their hands on it easy enough, can cause unsavory incidents. But not to tar all with the same brush, adults alike can misbehave and act like fucking baboons on the same beverage with enough intoxication. There's probably incidents going on now in town centers up and down the country right now but what they do is their business. Could be another busy night for some respective law enforcement divisions. Don't like to label all alcohol drinkers as bad or questionable, the majority are well behaved, but you know damn well, some people can't hold their liquor and issues arise. MikeO
Talktalk's "Homesafe" has somehow turned itself on overnight so I can't access any "unsuitable for under 18" content (was looking for odds on the cricket before you judge me :shaking fist:). Never used it, never enabled it and never needed it or wanted it....when I go into "my account" it's not enabled so I can't turn it off because it's already off . Bit of research reveals it's not a new problem and others have had it before but I can't find a fix; I've put a question on their tech support forum but no response as yet. Guess I'm going to have to phone the morons but I know it'll be a nightmare so I'll leave it 'til tomorrow, I can do without porn bookies for one night I guess . Cake
Wimbledon tennis tournament, the commentators on it, the fans who go there and the fans who take time off work to 'live' it. Reasons - way too many to go. Hate is a strong word. I don't hate many things but I hate this with a passion and everything it and they stand for. Can understand the aversion to the elitism in British tennis, which I presume is the basis for your dislike Cake. But some of the skill and athleticism is superb....not my favorite sport by any stretch of the imagination but I watched some of Nadal getting beaten today and it was incredible. "A tournament for c**ts" is just meaningless, infantile and really not worth any response. Don't know why you come up with such comments Zoo, there's only one person it makes look like a c**t . Union or K is a good choice but be advised - not for lightweights Used to like K, but it was only available in small bottles so didn't quench your thirst as well (as cheaply) as others (I used to drink Merrydown) K made great snakebites with Elephant beer. But not really for inexperienced inbibers. Oddly I have found that it is not always the alcohol content of a beer that gets you drunk as swiftly, but what you are used to. For example I used to drink Theakstones Oul Peculier and it never bothered me, yet my cousin who drank a fair amount of lager beers had a couple and was running around Church Street without his keks. I hardly touch white wine as a couple of glasses and I am on me backside, But red wine I can drink a bottle and be fine.
Cake
Can understand the aversion to the elitism in British tennis, which I presume is the basis for your dislike Cake. That is the basis, I suppose, yes. Add the pretentious, condescending attitude particularly of the commentators not only towards the 'fans' but also towards anyone, including the players (some of who are very skilful, it's not their fault Wimbledon is operated and supported by such sycophantic luvvies and pseudo-luvvies) giving the impression they almost live with the likes of Federer, Nadal............... NNNNNNYYYYYAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! I hate it! Truly, gut-wrenchingly, despise it!
MikeO
I lived in Wimbledon for ten years....used to see Annabel Croft in Sainsbury's (I never went to bed with her no matter how much she begged ). Funny the difference in perception between the tennis and the football club (as they were back then...80s/90s) but Wimbledon Village (tennis) was/is a very different place from Wimbledon Park (Plough Lane).
