Sibdane
People with a shit load of money trying to get out of paying what they owe make me sick. Seriously, they have more money than they know what to do with yet they're still scheming the system. Romey 1878

Those penalty takers weren't great, but they all at least hit with power. Rui Patricio was godlike for a minute. I know he's been at Sporting almost his entire career, but I wouldn't be surprised if that performance gets him a move.

Made me laugh that one of the commentators mentioned how good Sanchez' penalty was. It was probably the worst of the lot and been easily saved had the keeper gone the right way! Penalties are all or nothing. A good penalty is scored. A bad penalty is missed or saved. A great penalty is a rocket in a corner or a cheeky af chip. markjazzbassist
defoe officially signed for bournemouth. they're completed the Nathan Ake deal too. Very good transactions so far, i have a soft spot for them, i like Eddie Howe and they're small club so i root for them (when they're not playing us of course). I think they could surprise some people this year and end up in the top 7. Begovic, Defoe, Ake, just need a solid centre mid and they've got a nice little squad. Professional footballer 12 yards out should be sticking it in the corner every time, or high into the roof of the net at the least. bar Vidal's penalty if the keeper goes the right way he saves it. Vidal's was unreal, pace, bend, side netting the rest were absolute filth for players of their calibre.

It is. Gambling is a huge problem; national lottery is a part of it, see so many people who plainly can't afford it laying out wads of cash because they believe they're going to be millionaires. I was against it from the start and still am despite the fact that it funds "good causes"; it funds good causes on the back of misery. Then there are Fixed Odds Betting Terminals in bookies nowadays which eat money and are a dreadful thing. Bingo sites are endemic on the web, more crap promising people riches and then fleecing them. Got no problem with people spending money they can afford to lose on horses/dogs/football but it's everywhere; endless TV ads pulling you in. I don't gamble at all so it's not an issue for me but the current situation was predicted many years ago and it's happened. markjazzbassist

Yeh it's huge. Most lads I know do their bollocks every weekend, clinging on to the big win they had 5 years ago. The FBOTS Mike mentioned are the worse. You play long enough you will lose and people feed money in them all day.
