MikeO
Tit.... "Football has also based its popularity on injustices," Platini continued. "You can remember them and talk about them in the bars. "You can talk about 1982, France-Germany, it was an injustice like the hand of Maradona or that of Henry. The notoriety also comes from negative things in football." Never heard anything so stupid in my life....all those things brought the game into disrepute. Barking mad. Romey 1878
As soon as they find a way for goal-line technology to make them a bucketload of money they'll be all for it .
Zoo
Just been down to the bookies to put on my matchday bets! I've got Arsenal down for a home win against QPR, Fulham to win away from home against Norwich (and they are winning 1-0 as we speak), Stoke City to beat Wigan at the Britannia, Tottenham to win in Wales against the Swans and Manchester City to get back to winning ways tomorrow against Sunderland! I was going to put a bet on Chelsea too but I thought it was a bit too risky for the return I'd get considering the way they have been playing (even though they've just gone 1-0 up through a Drogba penalty). If I win my bets - £68.15 in my wallet, happy days!
MikeO
More comedy gold on the way (put on Harry Enfield Dutch policeman accent when reading).... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16393385.stm He's a shit manager who must've got lucky last time....probably be a mistake for them to have him back. But it'll be funny whatever happens on the pitch .

troy8
Michael Clarke 329 not out against India at the SCG, Ponting and Hussey also made 100s. Clarke's innings was the highest number of runs ever scored by a batsman there, well done Pup!

Lowensda
http://news.bbc.co.u...ll/16462913.stm Didn't see that coming. Nor did i!! I thought Fernandez was looking 'long term' and suggested holding out for Warnock untill he can build a team that he wanted with the finances that he was looking to provide. Rediculous. It'll knock the team now and make it worse, the only way QPR can pull this out now is if they pull out a 'massive' name for management. Even then, they'll struggle IMO. Chairmen now a days, don't have a clue when it comes to team building. wow.

Louis
I was talking to a Brazilian scout about Henrique around the time of the Pan-American games, he didn't rate him much despite being the top scorer at the under 20 world cup. Brazil finished third in their group behind Costa Rica and Argentina.
