GoodisonRoad
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15592408.stm Kevin Prince-Boateng (Formerly of Portsmouth) has Retired from International Football. Slightly odd, as he's only 24.
Lowensda
I saw this after the thread by the NSPCC Podcast guy, has anyone seen this? #! Games tied 2-2, last move of the match, team in white (can't make out who it is) rush towards goal, goalkeeper downs the last man and is consquently sent off, the team in stripes have no more subs so stick their striker in net. Goalkeeper obviously gives him some pointers, but with the last kick of the game, he SAVES the resulting penalty and Jags it up field, only for the ref to blow up. Amazing. Legend. pete0
http://www.whoateall...medium=referral Feel ashamed for their actions, I hate refs but thats to far. Good thing non of them can actually throw a punch otherwise that would have been much worse

Lowensda
They want to open the CL qualifying places in La Liga down to 8th place, whilst the Premier League (a completely seperate competition to the CL and La Liga) have to reduce their league to 16 teams to accomodate the spanish? Lowensda
http://news.bbc.co.u...ll/15975008.stm Inevitable really wasn't it? Just how much money has Bruce spent at Sunderland? ALso how many players have joined the club per season? He used to but 10-15 players a YEAR!!!!! And most were average at best, yet he paid serious money for. No wonder he's gone. Lowensda
Here's it explained - Sunderland Transfers http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/sunderland-afc/transfers-alle/verein_289.html It looks as if they bought a player one season, had an iffy spell and were sold the next!? No time to bed or adapt to their surroundings, no wonder they kept losing their players!
