jofanon
I'd let him go for £10m+. He's not been great for a while and we need the money for a striker or winger.
scouse
or the debt! id sell for 12 mill, bring in Sturridge on loan for 3 mill and 9 mill off the debt.
Hafnia
Unfortunately I would sell for £10m plus. not only is £10m good money for a 29 year old who has struggled of late, it would also free up £3.5m in salary per year. Again, we would be leaving it late to allow us to replace him but surely moyes will have someone pipelined? Most organisations have succession planning as part of business as usual... scouse
Lets be honest this deal has 10:55 pm all over it too late to bring in replacement.
Ian C
John Cross (Mirror hack) says Arsenal are hopeful of completing a deal before the window closes. Phil McNulty says he's hearing "no deal" Confusion abounds.
Romey 1878
If he is sold then a creative replacement is a must, and I don't think we have enough time.

scouse
i can see it happening and too late for a replacement, Barkley moving into the centre and Drenthe down the left. Edited August 31, 2011 by scouse

Ian C
Osman and Barkley available to step in I suppose. £13m'ish would represent tremendous business for an out-of-form, aging, injury prone Arteta. But.... I'll probably still cry. The best little spaniard we know. Love him to bits Hope he doesn't go.

pete0
Arteta is worth £20 mil still easily, accepting anything else would be madness. Last season we would have got even more than that
