thompson013
Just reading in the paper today that Rafa B dontated a 'substantial five figure sum' to the Rhys Jones memorial fund before he left the RS. "In all my time at Liverpool this is one of the stories that affected me most. To think this lovely little boy was taken from his family in such awful circumstances is heart-breaking" Fair play to the man. When it comes down to whats really important in life, football comes pretty low down the list.
Blue 250
If Rafa did make a donation, then credit to him. He made millions out of his time at liverpool, so he wont miss a few thousand, but still he didn't have to do it. Rafas a father and what happened to Rhys couldn't fail to affect him, I'm sure he got involved with the Campaignig after Rhys' death, some kind of merseyside event I think. Apart from a few daft coments Rafa didn't do Everton much harm, and I would have liked him to stay at liverpool ......Just hope he now finds what he's looking for. Again, credit to the man for his donation.
