Romey 1878
£10million max.

Avinalaff
that is for Jags and Arteta... Yeah, I'm aware of that, but it's still a large amount. Time will tell I guess.
bluemist
I'd go with £25m, 15 for Jags and 10 for Mikel. We have Duffy and Heitinga who could fill in, and Barkley looks well capable of replacing Arteta. If that gets us a striker and a winger we would be a better side. I dont think Duffy is gonna be as good as everybody makes out..... A personal friend of mine works for the F.A.I and works closley with underage Irish teams ect.. Picked his brain about Duffy does'nt rate him at all to put it mildly Can't repeat his actual words.... Hope he's wrong!! Thinks that Conor Clifford off chelsea has a big future not that that matters a fuck! Edited August 23, 2011 by bluemist
codders78
It isnt just Duffy, there is Mustafi and Johann Hammar is supposed to be quite a talent, albeit still raw. Duffy needs a season on loan in the championship, Blackpool preferably Holloway did a great job with Coleman, then we might know a little more about what we have. Still enough potential to not need to replace Jags if he goes and if push came to shove we could see how Rodders slots into the back

Understand Bohs are not at the level we could make a sound judgement against nor is one match but thats my initial thoughts, I also agree tho that they could both do with a loan deal to get some first team football. Hafnia
Oh my word, arsenal have bid £6m for Gary Cahill. You couldn't make it up. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Arsenal-make-bid-of-just-6m-defender-Gary-Cahill-who-is-valued-at-17m-by-Bolton-exclusive-story-article790412.html Wenger is a disgrace

Lowensda
Wenger is a dick. He gets shirty when Barca refused to pay £35m for him and then he throws in a bid that even in my mind is direspectful. Squillaci and Koscielny cost them £10m and they were unproven and not ness experienced, so £6m is a pisser for a proven premier league player, who can score goals. StevO
i think the figures like £17m are a lot with one year left on his contract (see Nasri £24m) but £6m is crazy
SimonButtle
ever since his disaster with Reyes, Wenger just wants to prove he can do everything on the cheap, he's just a dick
scouse
lets brace for a 2m big for Jags!
Hafnia
He's gone from being a well respected manager to one spiteful demented git. Bolton payed £5m for him, ffs £14m and they would have considered it, coyle has been very open about it. Hope someone like Chelsea steal in and nip him for £12m now. I don't mind Bolton, like the way they go about business and dealing with players.
Avinalaff
SSN have 4 players names in our 'out' column. Arteta Yakubu Beckford Jagielka I've been offline for an hour tying something up. Has Jags gone?

Peter H
Would actually be good for England to have Jags and Terry play together week in and week out. Chelsea have money, a bid larger than 20 mil (speculation) for a 29 year old and I say go for it. We have Heitinga
Avinalaff
If he wants silverware, cut down on the mistakes at the back lol.
c1982
To be honest I think Gary Cahill would be a cheaper (with contract up at end of season) and maybe better signing for Chelsea.
Peter H
Id prefer to sell jags over rodders tho, so heres hoping theres some truth to this rumour
