Louis
http://mbvtravel.com/burials-in-tibet-not-for-sensitive-souls/ Don't click if you are feeling queasy! It involves a corpse.
MikeO
Interesting. Better than being nailed in a box and buried (imo). Personally I'd go for cremation on an open pyre if it was legal but that's a decent alternative .

Blue 250
So you bind your loved one with rope and slash them with a knife, then hope the birds are hungry and you sit and watch as they pull the body to pieces....to then shit them out all over the place.surely not an option offered by the undertakers in a civilized society! Every time a bird shits on you, your going to wonder just who the hell it is. PS.....If you go hill walking in the area featured, and you happen to stumble and draw blood.......get up fuc%ing quick. Lowensda
Stupidly, it looks more dignified. Just the whole giving back to nature thing i think, rather than rotting in a box! at the end of the day after the soul has gone, its only an empty shell of a person and it will never contain life again? Otherwise leaving it lying around is like fly tipping (weird way to phrase it am sorry) but it is?
MikeO
surely not an option offered by the undertakers in a civilized society! Not studied it particularly but I've always had the impression that Buddhist society is probably the most civilized on the planet .
