Mirallas
If this article is correct, then Everton suddenly became extremely ambitious: http://www.soccerplay.net/chelsea-and-everton-boosted-for-cardozo/29236#.UHJsFU0xrwp Come on, man... Everton can't afford that. And Portuguese league players are always overpriced.
Mirallas
Transfermarkt rates him at 15-16 mil pounds. So because he plays for Benfica, his asking price will be at least like 22-23 mil... That article is probably bullshit. Everton could just as well hand in a statutory demand for bankrupcy then. EFC has Mirallas, so forget about Cardozo. What more do you need to complement Jelly? Kevin was a bit of a steal. Cardozo will not be a steal, ever. Unless Benfica goes bankrupt, but they wont, cause they just sold Witsel for 40 million euros, and they bought him a year ago for only 7-8 million euros. lol. Fearthainn
I seriously hope we don't go in for Cardozo. He needs 10 chances to score a goal, is slightly faster than a snail and is extremely overpriced. He is also Benfica's penalty taker usually which boosts his goal tally (they get a lot of penalties ). As for the positives, well he has a sweet left foot yeah, decent free kick and penalty taker (he just hammers them in...) and is good in the air. Nothing there we really miss at the moment, especially not for a ridiculous amount. Benfica have been trying to offload him for a couple of years for 15 million Euros +, but no team has been stupid enough yet. He's 29 already as well. Fearthainn
If we're going to spend millions in a player from the Portuguese league then let's try James Rodriguez Or, much more realistically, Eder from Braga. Now that is a very good striker, just made his debut for Portugal last month as well.
jofanon
Seems risky. I'd like the big man back from Argentina for a backup striker.
Dalziel Kane
What's Luis Figo doing these days, I know he retired from international play some years ago, but thought for a moment he was still an active player at domestics? Simply was a player I would have liked to have seen here, of course while not probably feasible, stranger things have occured, and especially with regards to his later years as a player, might well have been snapped by an EPL team or fancied a spell in the UK. Pity we (England) never got to see him play his game here, he was quite a player for a time.
Fearthainn
He retired 2 or 3 years ago. I think he's worked at Inter since but not sure what his role is there. He's always representing Inter in the CL draws. I always wanted him to move to the Premier League as well but it wasn't to be!
