Avinalaff
Please remind me to cut your balls off. If we sell Fellaini and Baines, it would need to be for a lot more than 40 million, and I certainly wouldn't want 'any' players in exchange. As for my balls, stop thinking about them. It's perverse. Anyways, why not negociate another 10 million, then EFC can buy Mignolet to replace Howard with as well

Mirallas
Do you want to buy every Belgian to play for us lol? Would take Lukaku though It's well considered. Mignolet is a long-term prospective (23y old I think) and one of the best in the league. He's underrated, cause for some reason the media's attention is more drawn towards Vorm, Krul, Sczcesny, Hart, De Gea, Friedel and Cech. Pearso
Moyes would be nuts if he were to sell both Baines and Felli. I don't think he'd even consider it to be honest.

c1982
I think he'll go eventually (as we've dropped too many points already for CL - yeah 3 points off but I just think we'll struggle to be that close with a tricky December!) and we need clubs like Zenit bidding to drive up his price. pete0
Hulk came off for them yesterday and was not happy. Apparently had a few fallings out with their manager, Swap deal anyone? No, he's not worth half what they paid for him.
Romey 1878
I've only ever seen him play in Europe but he's only ever looked average and I've wondered what the fuss about him is tbh. Bailey
GoodisonRoad
No, he's not worth half what they paid for him. I agree, can see a few of the shite papers churning out the story though. Fellaini is twice the player he is so we should demand that sort of fee.
holystove
Witsel, the former teammate of Fellaini and fellow Belgian who is supposed to lure him to Zenit is reportedly very unhappy in Sint-Petersburg. Other players dislike Witsel and Hulk for their wages and Zenit has one of the most racist fan-bases in the world. I'd be shocked if Felli would want to play there. And if they can pay 40 million EUR for Witsel, then I would ask 60 for Fellaini..
Mirallas
Good news is Zenit interest dramatically raises the price EFC can ask. That's just a fact. If they want him they'll easily pay 40 mil for him. Look what they paid to get Hulk, who is only an average striker on the European scene and Witsel, who is a talent, but not a 40 mil euro talent. Peter H
Id take 60 mil. 3 replacements at 15 each and 15 to the bank.
Lowensda
We'd never get 60m not in 60m years. Aif I'm being genuine, the most we could get is between 24-28 mil...anymore, is highly unlikely!
pete0
We'd never get 60m not in 60m years. Aif I'm being genuine, the most we could get is between 24-28 mil...anymore, is highly unlikely! We got that for Rooney, I'd expect a lot more (unless there is something in his contract). Modric went for £30 mil with far less competition for his signature.
Blue 250
I'm still not sure Fellaini has reached his peak, I can't see why if two or more clubs really want him the starting figure shouldn't be £30mllion. Moyes/we, don't want to lose him and he still has a decent length contract with us, everything points towards the mid 30's (millions). Peter H
I dont think we would get 60 either, but id take it if it was offered. It should deffo be closer to 40 mil if the russians are interested. If he has to go (and i hope he stays) id hope for a bidding war between the russians, psg, chelsea, man city and Real Madrid. That would bring the price up nicely. Edited December 8, 2012 by Peter H
Quinn31
I highly doubt we'd get offered 40 million, much less 60 million, but if we did get offered 50+, it would be too good of an offer to turn down.
Dalziel Kane
£60,000,000 ! Not going to happen is it. Say for arguments sake we don't achieve what Fellaini specifically requested, and in all probability it may well occur, then a sensible price the Belgian will go for will be around £20,000,000 to £25,000,000. I don't think at all anyone would offer too much more than that, but as always, some player prices today are so damn ridiculous you don't know where you're at anymore. I think Fellaini is worth around the prices stated, what others think is their business, but even then we've seen some very ordinary players making moves for anything up to 35 million, when they're not even worth a third of that. At least Fellaini would be worth every penny of his transfer sale, unlike so many others we have seen recently, but once again, 60 million is simply too much a price and nobody in their right mind would pay such a price for the player. Hafnia
If he was playing for spurs he would be sold for nearer to £50m, you can't fault their record (levy) in getting top dollar. We aren't bad at getting the right price but Rooney still sticks in the throat, sold for best part of £10m cheaper than drogba was sold to Chelsea for from a non prem team. My guess is that with some big powerhouses sniffing he can go for £35m-£45m. A fair price.
Peter H
The speculation of 60 mil was in euro, not pounds. Not like theres a massive difference any more

Mogsy
http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-chasing-toughguy-fellaini-8422080.html I can honestly see him going to chelsea at some point, I just hope it's for a lot more than 20 million
Blue 250
Why wouldn't Fellaini want to join Chelsea for over £100,000 a week ? Why wouldn't Chelsea pay £30 million for one of the best players in the prem, who is still only 25 ? Why would Moyes accept anything less than £30 million ?
