Jimmy the blue
Seriously i havnt seen or heard anything on victor for a very long time where is he? Last I heard he was still trying to recover from Kevin Nolans career threatening tackle last season and the chances of him doing so were against him, it is that bad
GoodisonRoad
Yeah, Apparently his Leg didnt respond well to the treatment and flared up an awfull lot. I'm sure Moyes came out and said that? or am i just making this up? i dont know tbh...its late.

Wirral Wizard
My Mum was talking to her cousin on Boxing Day, who is good friends with Anichebe's parents. He's living in Knutsford and there is a distinct possibility that his career could be over as a result of that injury. Although he's not a great loss to our club it's terrible for the lad that he may never be able to play again.
james_clarke
i've heard he has a similar injury to dean ashton, but this is his knee rather than ankle, his bone has not healed propery, it is career threatening and there's no time scale if it does heal! craigb
well since reading this topic i didnt realise it was so severe, i thought he was due back around this month some time. Im one of the few you will find that has always liked anichbe, he has the ability there, a bit like vaughan, i hope he does come back, you cant wish this on any young player

Sad about if his career is over though, if it isnt it shoudn't carry on with us! Vaughan has more in the locker, Anichebe looks knackered after a 5 yard run and he is a young lad! DONKEY! Louis
Yak is public enemy #1 in Nigeria because of his miss in the World Cup. I don't think he'll play for Nigeria again.

Ridiculous if that's the reason....he was offside so it wouldn't/shouldn't have counted anyway .

badaids
Guardian reporting he was injured in the final minutes of the nigeria match in erm, madagascar. Madagascar??? Out for three weeks. Hopefully Moyes will play Vellios or Denis rather than chuck Fellaini or Cahill up front.
MikeO
Why the ??? after Madagascar? Two African countries playing each other in the ACON....seems logical to me .
