Lowensda
Really not the type of player we should be looking at. For arsenal, yes he would be a brilliant aquisition with the likes of eduardo next to him but we need a very pacy, work-till-you-drop player to accomodate Yak and Saha. ALso with the lack of funds, i dont think anyone beleives this will happen!

Lowensda
Isn't he out of contract in the summer? Therefore would be available on a free.... Yeah but in January, they're going to want to sell him if anything, rather than letting him go for nothing. If he does see out his contract, i will gurantee that we wont stand a chance. aaron
daft t**ts if true, which i doubt it is, why would anyone pay anywhere near that sum of money when that player is free in the summer
Bill
daft t**ts if true, which i doubt it is, why would anyone pay anywhere near that sum of money when that player is free in the summer To make sure they get him, if they wait til he's out of contact the other top 3 would be favourites to get him. I heard that it was £12m fee and another 13 million salary over 5 year contract. That would be the whole Deal for £25 million.

Avinalaff
Lol. I'd take this with a pinch of salt. Arsenal only have 3 strikers, in Van Persie, Gervinho, and Chamakh. Van Persie gets injured every season. Why will they let a striker go on loan?
GoodisonRoad
They also have that Park guy, from Moscow who they bought last minute. Scored in their League cup game against Bolton. http://en.wikipedia..../Park_Chu-Young So it may be possible, not that i want it to be... codders78
I thought he would do well when he went to Arsenal but hasnt had the game time to adapt and adjust to life in the premiership. Still think he is a good player and regular games would see a different and better player so I would be very happy to have him here

pete0
From premierleague.com last season he played 1846 mins and got 7 goals and 7 assists. Not a bad record, considering he was in and out the team. This season 104 mins, 1 goal. Think he could get 20 a season if he was played every week Edited November 4, 2011 by pete0
GoodisonRoad
He only got 53 in 230 games for Bordeaux, so i doubt he could get 20 a season, in a much much much Higher standard of League.
Bailey
He certainly has ability but I dont think he works hard enough or has the right mental frame of mind to play for a club like us. He needs people to create chances for him and he wouldnt get that here.
