The Beard
Their finest three and a half minutes ever imho . Rolling Stones, Ruby Tuesday. Have you heard Melanie Safkas version, makes my hair stand on end everytime. Amazingly it is the same Melanie that had a hit with Brand New Key in early 70's (you know the one, I've got a brand new pair of roller skates, i'll give you the key). Today I have been listening to The Pogues 'Rum, Sodomy and the Lash' Edited June 26, 2009 by The Beard
MikeO
Heard Melanie's version Beard, but not for a long time...I'll have to look it up. Michael Jackson - "Dirty Diana" Think my favourite Michael Jackson is Smooth Criminal....or possibly Black or White.

chongli
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2B435SzgfRk Thin Lizzy Thank you for that video. Brilliance. I actually just played in a band at a wedding two weeks ago where we played "The Boys Are Back In Town". Amazing to play if you can get the three guitar attack. It would have been even better if we had pulled off this transition from "Cowboy Song"!
