adamsmith69
Hello guys and guyettes. I am sure a few of you will have heard of Movember, an official prostate cancer charity. I am currently growing a moustache through out November to raise awareness and cash for this very important charity. If any of you could spare even five or ten pence then that would be greatly appreciated. the link and the tash so far is below: http://uk.movember.com/mospace/253548

Blue 250
Good luck with the tache mate!......If yours looks as sexy as mine mate, your probably going to keep it I've had a go at that swim the chennel thing MikeO -_- ....Except, it wasn't actually in the English Channel......or on my own! Couple of years back my mate decided that WE! should do someting for charity, and that WE should swim the equivilant to the channel, luckily he thought two other mates wanted to do it aswell! Heated swimming pool and 5.25 miles (each) later, we had raised around £1800.Certainly didn't find it easy, thing is at the times when it was getting a bit tough, the thought of the suffering of the people we were swimming for suddenly made it easier. It might only be a moustache adzo9, but your doing it to help others!

Couldn't swim that far 250....impressive. Someone told me a couple of days back about a dude that's cycling around the world in his front room. On an exercise bike with an atlas . True apparently. I did a parachute jump for charity a long time back....two in the end actually....and was named on the radio by Michael Aspel . I also did a half marathon once....but that was to try and get a barmaid into bed so for my own benefit rather than anyone elses . Long story. And I failed (with the barmaid, did the run in 1'54") . adamsmith69
Let's bring this topic back up. Movember is getting close again, so time to start thinking about what Mo to sport for the best month in the calender. Last year we managed to raise touching £1000 and are looking to beat it this year. Any guys fancy getting involved?
Matt
i might be doing it anyway if i cant find my razor! going to be a very hectic november anyway so why not... I cant do a moustache though otherwise i look like a french pornstar, so will have to be a bad attempt at a goatee. Am I allowed to try to tame the random patches on the cheeks? my facial hair growth isnt exactly good!

Bill
Does the missus not have a thing for Burt Reynolds then Mike? I tried one about 10 years ago and was under strict orders from "she who must be obeyed" not to grow one again. If Mikes anything like me, it will be growing with black, brown, ginger, and grey in it, amongst other colours.
Matt
well, 10 days in and my... how to descibe... attempt is itchin like a bitch. Ginger too it seems, even though ive got dark brown hair. Still no sponsors but plenty of people have asked and so the awareness is at least getting across! adamsmith69
Mine is coming along nicely, not raised much money about 30 quid so far, shite in comparison to the 300 last year. Dont be tempted to get rid because of the itch, it subsides very soon. Had to go to a work conference on monday in London, looked like a freaking tool. will post a latest pic up soon.
