sconnerefc
i no its got nothing to do with this topic but what is your guys views on Tim Howard ? Do you think he has got a good reputation just because he spent a season at Manure
Romey 1878
I think hes got a good reputation because hes a good keeper, made a couple of mistakes at Manure and was punished too harshly IMO every keeper makes mistakes
GoldfishMemory
I'm not too sure but i'm of the opinion amyway that Turner should start in goal and whoever else is there should be his cover! Wont happen now we loaned howard but i think the time is rite and we should go for it, you dont find the next Big Nev by sitting him on the bench. java2001e
the stats for wright and martyn are NOT very different. wright saves/shots ratio 71% : 15 games - 19 goals. martyn saves/shots ratio 70% : 20 games - 24 goals. LESS THAN WRIGHT!!! not much to choose between them. lets see how the new guy works out next season. thebluenose
by one percent. but martyn made more clean sheets. and at least he knows what hes doin. wright doesnt seem to be like that
StevO
Dicky is a good shot stopper, but nothin else. but i thought we were all keepin quiet about how shit Dicky is so we can sell him as "a future England goal keeper"?

Randomness
is the standard of goalkeeping in england that bad that after a world class keeper we go to a keeper who's only good when he's constantly in the game, a keeper who has a shite season for norwich and then kids? aaron
is the standard of goalkeeping in england that bad that after a world class keeper we go to a keeper who's only good when he's constantly in the game, a keeper who has a shite season for norwich and then kids? gotta agree with that, we dont have a class keeper except for paul robinson, who else is there? james makes too many mistakes so i wouldnt trust him, green is propa shite, carson is not proven, had a good game against juventus for the rs but still, kirkland is just a croak, he needs to quit plays 1 match then is fuckin injured again
java2001e
wright=oh my god i dropped the ball, fell over sign, put foot thru table, where did the ball go,no,no not to me, do you see the differnce? yes. the difference its that the stats dont lie. they give an objective picture of the performance of the two keepers. wright : saves/shots ratio 71% martyn: saves/shots ratio 70% the facts are that there is little to choose between these two in performance terms. martyn has had more clean sheets but he has had more games as well. xena
Foster is a very good keeper and deserves his call up, in my opinion he is better than Green & Carson. Great shot stopper, commands area very well, very alert and reads the game well. Infact he would have been a good buy for us! I expect great things from this lad, you heard it here first. lol
Romey 1878
I watched him in the play off final and he actually reminded me alot of Wright, he came for balls that were never going to be his and he should have had a penalty given against him when he pulled down Hulse - he is a flounderer
xena
We will see! Couple of years time he will be pushing Robinson for a place!
Romey 1878
He needs to learn when to come and when not to first, being a world class keeper is all about judgement and he lacks that at the minute
