c1982
Giggs has to be one of the best ever prem players (possibly the best) - he's scored in every year of the prem - what would your team be? Mine... .............Schmiechel............. G.Neville...Adams...Terry...A.Cole Ronaldo....Keane....Veira....Giggs .........Shearer....Henry......... Subs: Seaman, Bruce, Gerrard, Beckham, Scholes, Bergkamp, Zola That was quite hard actually so I went for mainly title winners (apart from gerrard and zola). Calico
Shearer didn't win the Prem either. Just thought I'd point that out I think you've pretty much hit the nail on the head with the line-up but I'd probably put Bergkamp with Henry since their partnership was so very, very special. The only issue I really have with Giggs is that I don't think he's ever started more than a certain number of games a season - it is something silly and I was shocked to hear the statistic myself - but then, for his position, he is probably still the most consistent player
Sgt Pepper
Umm is it possible to play Keane and Veira on the same team without em getting into a fight?

It can go on for bloody ages but it's great One player that hasn't been mentioned who has to be in with a shout is Cantona. He was a class above. KinseyG
To be honest, id say Arsenal a few years ago I cant remember a team passing so beautifully and beating every oponent. shame they sold vital players
StevO
a hard one, one because id hate to leave out any of beckham, bergkamp, henry, scholes, keane, vieira, zola, van nistlerooy, and i could keep going. c1982's team would be hard to beat though. aaron
marc overmars was a childhood hero of mine so he would be in it for me, as well as Di Canio.
troy8
-----------Schmeichel------------- --G. Neville--Adams--Terry--Cole-- -------Vieira-----Makelele-------- ----Ronaldo--Gerrard---Giggs------ ------------Henry----------------- Subs: Cech, Ferdinand, Roy Keane, Beckham, Lampard, Zola, Van Nistelrooy. Perhaps not the best team overall, but due to my young age that's my opinion of the best Premier League side I could put together.
Calico
Makelele! Totally forgot about him I'd put him in over Keane but stay with Bergkamp over Gerrard.

How forgettable is that Blackburn team.... ..........Flowers.......... Warhurst..Berg..Hendry..Le Saux Ripley...Batty..Sherwood...Wilcox .........Shearer..Sutton......... Bench: Mimms, Moran, May, Fenton, Gallagher Something like that anyway (probably got a few pre and post champions team in there! - you did ask the question! Re. Cantona - hands up, I totally forgot about him! Re. Overmars - I was very close to putting him on the bench - used to love watching him play (apart from when they tore us apart 4 or 5-0 at highbury as they secured the championship and left us in the crap!) Sheeeeeedy
..........Flowers.......... Bench: Mimms, Moran, May, Fenton, Gallagher Something like that anyway (probably got a few pre and post champions team in there! - you did ask the question! They had Tony Gale (then aged about 37) and Mark Atkins as well - both players who would struggle to get in any PL squad today IMO. I think David May might have gone to Man Utd for the 1994/95 season.
