Romey 1878
http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/new-duo-set-for-debuts.html I reckon Bily will be on the bench with Distin starting myself.
Adpom
Distin will defo be in the team, with rodders dropped for Neville an Saha for Jo. 4-0 Everton i reckon. ------Howard Hibbert-Yobo-Distin-Bsins Osman-Neville-Cahill-Pienaar Fell Saha Bench Nash-Yak-Jo-rodders-goslin
Romey 1878
The bench is made of 7 now remember mate, so we'll have a few youngsters there too.
jamiemaher85
I'm praying for a win, I thnk the atmosphere should be lifted slightly with the new arrivals. If Distin starts and Bily makes an appearance I thin we'll win. We bloody well need too!

I'd like to see Bily get a decent run out.

Peter H
hoping for first 3 pointer, but it will be close. 1-0 Cahill in the 68th. Pienaar man of match.
Sgt Pepper
I gotta feeling it'll be an easy win 2-0 or 3-0. Is Bily playing for sure?

Andy Forsyth
I'm going 2-1, Saha first, Rodallega will equalise and Yak will come on to score a late winner for us :thumbsup_anim:
Romey 1878
I thought Billy couldn't play till after Russia play Wales ? It just wasn't known if he'd have received international clearance in time but he did and is in the squad.
KinseyG
Once jagielka returns we'll have a defence again, hibbert cant keep up. i like the lad but hes just not got the pace for the prem. jagielka in centre with ditin, yobo right baines left
IrbyJFC
I think we will see a much better attitude by the players today now that the Lescott saga is over. I believe that had a major effect on the players and manager. Im looking forward to seeing Dystin play as ive always like him as a player. Also im hoping Billy will get on the pitch as Osman as of this season has been a bit to lightweight for me. A lad on his debut i think he will be really fired up. 2-1 Everton Cahill - Dystin (debut header)
LexKing
Ill want a win so badly today. I know every1 else Evertonian will want that same. Weve had a crappy start again, and theres only 1 way to go. But, im really nervous. We have got bad seed out and 2 players in, Billy probablya aint gonna play today, even i would like to see him on action, just curious about him. WE NEED A WIN COYB Howard Nev-Yobo-Distin-Baines Osman-J-Rod-Felli-Peanuts Cahill YAKUBU prolly still Saha And i would like to see Billy coming in and Peanuts switch to right side. edit: 3-1 cant see us clean sheet, J-Rod, Felli, YAKUBU , feed the YAK Edited August 30, 2009 by LexKing
KinseyG
yeah i would love to see the Yak in action again today. hes a big striker and holds the ball up perfectly. Jo can finish but not too much creativity about him. I hope billy makes an appearance, but i think he'll only come on if were comfortable in the lead

I think Jo is much more creative than Yakubu. Anyway, Moyes said Yakubu is still 2-3 weeks off, so hoping for Saha myself.

t-cahill
Howard Neville Rodwell Distin Baines Osman Fellaini Cahill Billy Pienaar Saha Not who I think will play, who I would play if I was DM. Throw Billy straight into the mix. I'm going to be optimistic now, 2-0 to us, Billy with both goals and if not 2-0, 3-1. coxy051
Whats Felli doing on the bench? Well hes not going to drop Neville is he and we all know he likes Hibbert for some bizarre reason and a think Rodwell deservers to be in the squad. Ian C
Think this may work out well for us, Cahill back in his normal role! It'll be interesting to see Rodwell with a bit more freedom now with Neville back alongside him.
