PFthetoffee
Thought it might be worth starting a discussion on our supposed illegal tapping dossier that we will be handing to the FA regarding Man Citys approach of that centre back who we just sold for 6 million less than we valued him at....his name escapes me now... Has anyone got any thoughts or news on the matter? Personally, I think its a bit of a waste of time given that Chelsea only got a £300,000 fine and a suspended points deduction from Ashley Cole-gate......£300,000 for man city is barely equivalent to a slap on the little finger let alone the wrists.... jamiemaher85
I'm sick of the whole thing now and just want all this to end. We should wash our hands of it and walk away before everyone involved comes out even worse than they all look now, thats Everton and Moyes included. The whole sorry saga has been beyond a joke and i can't wait to simply move on.

MikeO
If they have a case it's worth following through just to prove the point imo.
Louis
Are we really in a position to complain when Pini Zahavi was representing both Everton and Moutinho? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/everton/2464590/Everton-have-bid-for-Joao-Moutinho-rejected-by-Sporting-Lisbon.html Kia Joorachbian is apparently representing Man City and Lescott. MikeO
Are we really in a position to complain when Pini Zahavi was representing both Everton and Moutinho? Depends whether there was any evidence of impropriety in that case. Did Sporting complain?
Romey 1878
If they have a case it's worth following through just to prove the point imo. Moyes proving a point hasn't exactly helped us so far.
jcrawfor
Moyes proving a point hasn't exactly helped us so far. maybe because he didn't prove a point.

I thought it was that little weasel getting out of the car with Lescott on SSN when he was going for his medical. Seems to get his grubby little mitts everywhere. marcopaulo
just leave it cos we could end up lookin like some moaning bastards really and nothin will happen! if they could guarantee a point deduction then crack on but they wont and the money he can find down the back of the sofa! MikeO
just leave it cos we could end up lookin like some moaning bastards really and nothin will happen! Think if we've got solid evidence the FA should see it myself. We can then wash our hands of it and it's purely their decision what to do with it. FairWooney
I don't think there'll be any case, probably thought threatening City might help push the fee up a bit to avoid having to go through any shite. I've got a feeling City did nothing wrong apart from not contacting Moyes first which it's apparent is not something other clubs do anyway. I don't think we'll hear any more about this.
