Only because i think he will be alot better in the euro games then he is in the prem. If he plays shite take him off at half time and have a fresh Saha for the second half. jamiemaher85
Have the TV rights for Europa League been sorted out yet? Setanta did have them I think but thats gone up the shitter. When I checked yesterday there is currently no English channel airing Europa League, anyone know anything about this?
coxy051
I think the setanta games will probably get shared over itv and 5.
jamiemaher85
Well they still need to buy them. As it stands at the moment there will be no Europa League football on TV next week so anyone who can't get to the game (which includes me) wont be able to see. Romey 1878
I'm hoping that there will be one hell of a response and we do them 3 or 4-0.

It's only because Setanta have gone bust and because the rules on TV rights for the competition have changed its not as simple to re-assign the rights anymore. 5ive or ITV may be able to arrange something for next week but it's not as simple as before. Had it been last year this happened we as a club would have been able to negotiate a new deal ourselves but as the Europa League can now only do block deals rather than team deals it's no longer possible. chris1eng
Didn't 5 have all the games last year and the year before?
jamiemaher85
No, ITV had them as well.
DonKey
I thought ESPN bought out all the rights that Setanta had to their sports. Just checked and seems I was wrong.
MikeO
Deal was signed with ITV and Five as well as Setanta (page four HERE) so hopefully it'll be sorted.
LexKing
How about this. The forummember who does the next game topic, will also add on topic Day, date, and CET time of the game? Its not a big deal, but at least i cant remember whole fixtures and have to always go to check on OS the times and stuff. Before going OS ill guess its thursday 2100 CET? Romey 1878
The away leg will be on 5 apparently.
dark
Have tickets for this one, anything less than 4-0 would be a dissapointment against a team such as Sigma. This is where the season starts for Everton Football Club, I'm going to predict a 5-0 victory, meaning that the away leg will be nothing more than an academy/reserve kick around, finishing about 2-0. Lowensda
Anyone know anything about them? Best player? Worse player? They a good team? Should we beat them, if we play our best? We can beat many a team on our day. But not alot is known about them, the best people to ask Ad, are people who watched them against Aberdeen? The Beard
Aberdeen had 12 fit players in the first leg. Centre forward played right back and right midfielder played centre half and not enough players to name all subs. Read into that what you will. I am expecting a resounding win, 4-0, which might make it easier to get a ticket in Olomeuc for the second leg. Incidentally think we are charged about £20 and its about £3 over there for tickets. nutmegwolf203
I'm hoping Jo starts up front and has a catalytic run out for his season. He's done well in Europe, ever seen film of him and Vagner Love against Inter a few years back? Great stuff, and he had so much energy, perhaps he can be that sprite again.
