Louis
Former Nigeria manager and current Enyimba football club technical adviser, Austin Eguavoen, has criticised Everton's Nigerian contingent for refusing to step up their game for them to compete favourably with their African counterparts in the annual Glo/CAF awards. He said that this was because most of the players are not focused, adding that this was why most of them play for clubs that do not belong to the upper echelon of European football. "Our players are just contented playing for clubs that are just average. They are contented playing for Newcastle, Everton, Getafe, Portsmouth and Bolton and others like them. "These clubs do not rate any player as one of the world's best because they are hardly involved in big club competitions like the (UEFA) Champions League and at other times, some of them are battling relegation in their respective leagues." Shut your mouth, fool.
