dark
It was for Phil Easton like Mark said, he was a DJ for Liverpool Radio and died at the age of 59. He died after suffering a brain haemorrhage at his home a few days before the game. For obvious reasons his friends & family are devistated and this is why the two teams wore black armbands. His contributiont to the city of Liverpool were large and the black armbands were shown as a mark of respect. The City Talk 105.9 breakfast co-host worked in radio for more than 30 years, first joining Liverpool's Radio City in 1975, hosting the breakfast show on Magic 1548.
