Louis
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...icle2192203.ece Moyes Asa punt on hotshot Gyan DAVID MOYES hopes to wrap up a deal to bring in African hotshot Asamoah Gyan to ease Everton’s striker crisis. The Toffees boss has persuaded French club Rennes to accept a loan-now, buy-later deal for the £8million-rated Ghanaian hitman. And Moyes will complete a permanent deal in the summer, when he has more funds available. Gyan scored the fastest goal of the 2006 World Cup in Germany — netting against the Czech Republic after just 68 seconds. It was Ghana’s first-ever World Cup goal. Part of the deal for Gyan, 23, will see forward Lucas Jutkiewicz go the other way. Jutkiewicz, 19, arrived at Goodison from Swindon in 2007 as one of the brightest young prospects around — but has played just four minutes for the Toffees. Another Rennes star on his way to Everton is Wesley Yamnaine. The 16-year-old defender is one of France’s hottest talents and has been touted as the next Laurent Blanc or Marcel Desailly. Moyes has moved quickly to snap him up. Nottingham Forest were also interested but the lure of the Premier League won the race for the teenager. Louis
I am relaxed about the link with Everton and am focusing on preparing myself for hopefully an injury-free season. "Everton is a great club, and maybe one day I will play for them. From Sky Sports

holystove
shaky under pressure! Edited July 3, 2010 by holystove
StevO
shaky under pressure! i'd disagree with that, he stepped up as soon as that penalty was awarded and the bravest man in the world to step up for the first in the shoot out! massive respect for that man from me! paulcat1988
Would be a great signing, that would defo be the end of Juke, Vaughny, possibly the Yak. If we do sign him hope he wears a real strikers number and not 3 lol
Bulletproof Tiger
Don't need another striker really but i would love to get rid of the Yak. He's done all he can here now and last season he looked awful, granted he was coming back from injury. All in all though - the Yak is slow, too damn slow. Matt
After watchin him at the world cup i'd swap him for Yak all day long. Constantly on his toe's, never gives up & looks quality. Bingo, straight swap would do nicely! I agree with Stevo too, massive respect for stepping up to take both pens.
