EFC-Paul
A replacement for Stevie P when he goes to Russia? No mate i dont see him if any truth in it being a replacement for pienaar, we need more attacking quality as far as i see it so maybe this is the man for the job. The Regulator
A replacement for Stevie P when he goes to Russia? I wouldn't go that far, this guy seems to be more in the vain of Obinna, giving us an option down the wing to widen our attack and get some backup in midfield. He can also play CF from what Ive heard so he'd be a backup striker, or could play in a 4-3-3. He'd be useful anyway and hopefully coming from Twente not that much in price either. dark
I woulden't think that he would come as replacement for Pienaar. Now skysports.com understand that Hull, Blackburn, Everton and also Manchester City - who were very impressed by Elia's display against them, are keeping tabs on him. Meh, he'll be going to either Manchester City or Blackburn Rovers.
duncanmckenzieismagic
Todays NoW are touting this one around now "Everton are confident they will win the race for Dutch winger Eljero Elia. (News of the World)"
Louis
Pienaar is a natural right sided player, it'd be nice if he wad the luxury of a left sided midfield player. Elia, you're breaking my heart. You're shaking my confidence daily
MikeO
Elia, you're breaking my heart. You're shaking my confidence daily Taxi for Louis! Hmmm....a Dutch winger...don't we already have one of those ?

The Regulator
Who is this person you talk of? There was a guy stumbling out of Walkabout in town the other day, cursing at some police officers and revealing himself to young ladies, and swearing blind he was a famous dutch winger on merseyside......he wasn't ginger so it couldn't have been dirk kunt, i wonder who it was..... Johnny Bryant
He looks quality, i would say no to signing him and how come every player we're interessted in or linked with, Aston Villa are to?? <_<
The Regulator
Perfect for us, young fast as anything and good at crossing, unfortunately if Bayern are in for him, we won't get near him... Shame really, with him and Pienaar in the team, Arteta Cahill and Fellaini in the middle and The Yak up top I could see us being very aggresive going forward. jamiemaher85
He looks quality, i would say no to signing him and how come every player we're interessted in or linked with, Aston Villa are to?? <_< Because we have the same abitions as each other. We are both moving in the same direction. We probably are not both looking at him but the press are justing thinking "this guy is good, who would he most likely play for in EPL?" marcopaulo
As a result, the flying winger could be a target for Spurs manager Harry Redknapp as he looks to bolster his squad in time for the start of their debut in the Champions League next season. what a shocker..
