marcopaulo
gotta be mr cahill! has summat you can't teach and is very rare! just knows where to be and when! close shout with arteta but cahill gets it for me!
dark
So many to choose from. -Arteta -Cahill -Lescott -Jagielka -Howard -Neville I would go for Arteta, closely followed by Nev and Tim. Edit: Two more that I forgot: -Pienaar -Yobo Edited September 15, 2008 by dark
Bill
Pienaar, cos at todays prices £2 million has to be the bargain of the century.
Blue 250
Cahill!.....but for injuries would be talked about in the £15 million pound bracket! Arteta, Pienaar, Lescott.....Jagielka(when in defence!).....all very, very good.
Everton_Worshiper
Without a doubt, Yobo.
Josh Berno
Tbh I would pick Yobo he is loyal and hes been a great player but if Cahill would stay injury free then I would have deffinetly picked him. sheedysheedysheedy
Tbh I would pick Yobo he is loyal and hes been a great player but if Cahill would stay injury free then I would have deffinetly picked him. Ridiculous as it sounds I honestly don't know. Initially thought Lescott then value for money cahill, arteta, pienaar, jags, howard, it goes on. then you got yak, big price but worth it, even AJ, those goals against the shite were worth 5m each. k we've had the odd turkey but this question makes me think that Moyes has done a fantastic job so far (and will do for many years to come). p.s. i'm sure i've missed a few obvious one too. Jimmy the blue
It would be Moyes himself if he'd sign
paulcat1988
Moyes is a must, just think we got cahill, arteta, and pienaar for less than what newcastle paid for that arsehole barton, pienaar is a great signing he just brings that bit of class to the side, Yobo for loyalty and he is a great defender to round it off. rubecula
It would be Moyes himself if he'd sign That is a Shout and a half. Good answer, very good answer.
MikeO
That would be a Bill Kenwright signing then .
aaron
cahill - cant argue with £1.5mil
Jimmy the blue
That would be a Bill Kenwright signing then . It will be Moyes decision, his pen and Bills tongue up his arse
StevO
Nigel Martyn, was a great servant in his time here. other than him i say its close between Cahill and Yobo, i dont think anybody else he has brought in has come close to them, consistancy and loyalty. Romey 1878
Cahill for me, no doubt about it.
barryj
Tim Cahill I'd have to agree. Lets hope we will be talking about Saha and Fellaini in this bracket in a year or two
shetland
For me it's gotta be cahill just for the effect he has on the team and the sheer value for money but there's many more already been mentioned that are great signings imo
sheedys2fingers
Arteta for me. A bit more confidence at taking shots rather than always trying to be the provider then we'll have our own answer to Lampard IMO
Sprooly
gotta be timmy if he wasnt injured all the time
LexKing
Of Course Hes TC. But no doubt, DM has done lot more good buys than bad
Jimmy the blue
Odd shout I know but Marcus Bent was a great buy, picked up for peanuts and sold for over two mil
wakeyblue
timmy the blue kangaroo i just buzz seeing him punch the corner flag and kiss the badge
J*A*C*K*E*L*Z
I thought AJ was the cleverest signing as he took us on another level and we still made our money back+ Timmy for 2 million is unreal as is arteta to be fair but im not going to sit on the fence and i beilve cahill was the better signing If you ask me which singing was my fave it would be Yakubu he made last year my most enjoyable year as an evertonain without a doubt
Blue4Ever
Arteta easily
jamiemaher85
I'm going to say 3, because i'm finding it hard to choose just one. Martyn- gave us some stability at the back that we never had since the departure of big Nev. Cahill- has consistantly given his all, and has popped up with crucial, and occaisonaly spectacular, goals Yakubu- For the first time in years we have a consitant striker who can be relied upon to score goals. eddie blue
2 players for me T Cahill he is the perfect box to box player and no-one will agree with me but P Neville for his professionalism, experience, and the way last season he organised the defence he also never gives less than 100% imo very underated for what he did last season
jaymz_555
Has gotta be Cahill IMO, just ahead of Arteta.
