MikeO
These athletes make you proud to be British, not the dick heads that represent us in the football. They could learn a thing or two from our Olympians. Having a talent and a hunger to match it for starters. Spot on Mark. Don't really care what the odd cynical killjoy (my wife is in that group ) has had to say about it, it's been brilliant from first to last. Incredible crowds, specially for the free events, and even the football that they thought was going to be a bit of a dead loss has had the biggest total attendance in Olympic history. Athletics stadium full even for every morning session (unheard of).....completely obscure sports bouncing with people who've not got a clue what they're watching; too many superb performances to mention and a huge dose of humility and gratitude from the vast majority of the athletes plus a bucketful of medals for GB . Loved it. Lowensda
Romey 1878
I wasn't going to watch any of the Olympics, athletics really isn't my thing, but other than the first day or two I've watched it religiously and got right into it. Jumping up and down watching our cyclists smash everyone in the velodrome just one example. Lowensda
Louis
Look at the gorgeous Belarussian who won gold yesterday.... She's been found to have failed a drugs test and her medal has been taken away from her.

MikeO
lack of estrogen? Their suspicions were probably aroused when she got her cock out to give the sample . marcopaulo
Dalziel Kane
In any event, kind of a relief the event seems to be over, all you've seen over everything for the past month, goddamn Olympics, here, there and everywhere, and the Idiots and Sport presenter charlatans on Five Live and Talkshit getting hysterical and foaming at the mouths, to name but a few. Just been too much sometimes, and don't give me no crap of about 'don't like it, don't watch it', when you have to live with it being a part of your very existence almost, or on TV, radio or commercials 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and coming at you from all directions, or in other words - No escape it seemed. Look, fair enough, it was a successful event, the UK did a good job, got 30 Gold Medals was it, and about 65 in total, a marvellous achievement, I didn't really have an issue with the competitors, they did a great job, made the country proud, finished third place in the rankings, (now who was tops?... ) and it's been great for the nation, a truly standout event, but a bit too much sometimes.. Well done to all the guys and women who got their medals to take home around the world, but all the same, a genuine relief it may be over.
