Louis
He's apparently signing for Toronto in MLS which is quite surprising.
Lowensda
Was very good last year too. Would have been great cover for the CM position.
Quinn31
He's apparently signing for Toronto in MLS which is quite surprising. Very disappointing for Americans... Well, it's nice to see top USA players in our own league, however I'd rather see them play in Europe, especially at the prime of their careers. Bradley is a good, underrated player with a great passing range. Oh well, maybe Toronto won't be awful for once.
Lowensda
not at ten million. Is that how much they're paying!? Quinn31
Quinn31
Is that how much they're paying!? I read that it's $10 million US Dollars... So 6m, which is a very fair price for him.
Sibdane
Very disappointed in this. I understand the league wanting the best American players, but I don't think Bradley has hit his prime, and he needs to play with better players to get better himself. Also, Toronto is my least favorite team in MLS besides Chivas.
markjazzbassist
I don't understand this move either since he was great with Roma last year. Hopefully he will tear up MLS and then after a year return to Europe at a bigger club with a starting position. He's still young and has plenty of time

Romey 1878
Now confirmed: http://www.asroma.it/en/news/corporate_michael_bradley/ He signed for Toronto. What a waste.
Sibdane
Agreed. Not happy about this at all.
Lowensda
Earning 6.5 x his annual salary at Roma, apparently. And for that, I don't blame him. Shows a lack of ambition but if someone offered me 6 x my salary, to put in half the amount of effort in, i'd take it without hesitation. zequist
Klinsmann sounds disappointed but resigned about the situation: "When a player decides to come back from Europe because [the] offer is just so exceptionally good that he wants to combine other things with it and help also the league to grow, as a national team coach you accept that and help the player to make the best out of it." http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1676213/united-states-coach-jurgen-klinsmann-says-no-demand-american-players-europe?cc=5901
Toffee_in_LA
I think some of you are being a little harsh on him. As a Galaxy fan, this is a different situation than Donovan's where he never really proved himself in Europe (apart from the pair of successful loan spells here for us). Bradley had been abroad now for somewhere between 6-10 years. He was also successful in every stop along the way. While his lack of ambition may be questioned, this is a good move for the MLS in the sense that they have the US's best players in it and is showing growth. markjazzbassist
