  1. I thought his contract was up at the end of the season?
  2. Hmm, not such a credible site... "Januzaj, 20, has started just eight of United’s games this season, most recently as a 70th-minute substitute in the 1-0 defeat at Chelsea."
  3. I'm bored so here we go: Between 18th September (our first Europa match v Wolfsburg) and 19th March (our last Europa match v Dynamo Kiev) we have earned an average of 1.07 points per Prem match. Outside of this period (before and after Europa & cups) we have earned an average of 1.64 points per match. 1.64 points per match so far would see us 3 points off 5th place. Is it a coincidence that since bombing out of Europa we have suddenly found form - WWDW? I kow the opposition hasn't been of the highest standard in recent fixtures but we were getting turned over by the likes of Stoke and Hull earlier on in the season. Food for thought? Maybe missing out on Europa next season will be a blessing?
  4. Why is Courtney Duffus 3rd likely on the list of possible goalscorers on bet365? Mess up by the site or inside info?
  5. Hate to sound defeatist, but are we actually in with a shout of winning Europa anyway? Obviously it is possible, but the standard of opposition will be a hell of a lot higher than Krasnodar and Young Boys. Our form is probably only better in Europe as the oppositon has been worse than that of the Premier League, which undoubtably makes us play better.
  6. There's no way Bill would sack him. Only if we were actually relegated do I think he would even think about it. Roberto's Everton career so far has basically mirrored Moyes's - improvement in the first season but crashing back down in the second. We were nearly relegated in Moyes's second season in charge (finished 17th) and he got given another chance and that decision paid off (depending on how you look at it!). I think as Bill has seen Moyes turn it around, he wouldn't be thinking about sacking Martinez at all. He's too loyal (lazy?) for that.
  7. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31448122 Chelsea and Everton charged after Stamford Bridge incident The full charge facing both teams is that they 'failed to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour'. Not sure what any of our players did wrong if I'm honest. Not reacting to being strangled and headbutted? That McCarthy needs to calm down :/
  8. Footballers really do know how to rub fans up the wrong way these days don't they. I want players that aspire to be at a big club like Everton and try to prove themselves, rather than be somewhere for egotistical players to put themselves in the shop window.
  9. Probably been mentioned in another thread, but looks like he's coming straight back in... "Everton boss Roberto Martinez says Tim Howard will return in goal after recovering from a calf problem." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31124629
  10. Haha, he doesn't look too happy does he https://twitter.com/FootballCliches/status/562570649596858368/photo/1
  11. He didn't even need to simulate. Just keep running and get clattered - wet lettuce indeed.
  12. Did McGeady actually make any contact for the 2nd booking? Acted like he was shot in the leg mid-air...
  13. Everton news conference Southampton v Everton (Saturday, 15:00 GMT) Posted at 09:07Everton boss Roberto Martinez: "We have great news. We were very worried about Kevin Mirallas because we felt the ankle had definite damage but it is the least it could be. He is quick healer so I don't expect him to be out for too long.
