Difference is and it’s one all the media have completely failed to see is Gerrard took over a team in mid table and got to spend good money on his team. Coutinho, Digne, Kamara & Diego Carlos. 
Frank took over a team in utter free fall, kept them up, sold his best asset to freshen up the team & most importantly has the fans behind the team again.
Theres still work to be done but he’s doing a great job so far.

I only ever want to see him on the left. His total one-footedness is exposed badly when he’s on the right. 

My son said the same, keeps on at me to watch them so we can discuss.

I can't see Dom going but Tarkowski has got to be in the thinking after his start to this season.

Our centre half pair costing £8m should be in the starting 11.  I’m sure the hipsters may not want a pair of blocking, heading, aggressive ball winners….. but I’m quite happy to see that. 

What about Coady surely he's impressed like Tarkowski, I think both should go there aren't that many better at the moment.

Your spot on he played more central instead of more on the right, just proof required to those who wanted to drop Coleman and put him at RWB. 

Iwobi is outstanding under Lampard, totally different player.

Top quality today. The lad was everywhere - I saw him at right back, left wing, just behind the striker, central midfield, defensive midfield.
Topped it off with another two assists to add to his tally.

Very humble 

Yeah. I’ve never got the impression, even previously, that Iwobi couldn’t be bothered. Out of position, lacking confidence etc.. but for me he was always trying . The desire was there. Credit to him for sticking with it. If he can give us this level for the next 2,3,4 years he will be quite a cult favorite (or just a favorite) given his circuitous route to success.

For me it’s because athletically it’s effortless for him the way it was for viera and toure plus his feet are very good. His passing and positioning will improve and when it does…. You are looking at a £100m player. Along with Bellingham, Bruno at Newcastle he is one of the best young midfielders in the world. 

And he is only 21!  
Such a joy to watch, not only for his skills / potential but the joy he gets from the game.  For a guy who is smart, speaks at least 5 languages, is stylish, can sing, and making money as a young person he could easily just be into social media, cars, women, other distractions, etc but this guy genuinely loves a tackle.  Love to see it.

His potential is frightening. He runs like he’s going for a jog but chews up ground, his rate of development will be quite quick I think.   He will have the odd stinker but overall I think it will be a matter of time before the elite start looking at him. 

I am with you on this. I don't think he actually has done that bad.
He is not a Richarlison replacement for sure, he offers something a little different.
Is chipping in with goals, as a lot of people worried about his lack of goals. However, he has already equaled his Premiership tally of 2 for the past two season, without really setting the world on fire yet. 
I think he will be a 'steady' player for us as this team become more familiar with each other.
 

A player who has been prematurely judged. Won’t be the first time. I like him as a player, just lacks a bit of pace. 

Glad for him today - great little cameo. He's been dismal so far this season, but for all those calling for him to play LWB, all his best bits have been lurking or scampering deep in the box.

I'm really pleased for him for getting that goal, it will hopefully give him the confidence boost he clearly needs.
It was a cracking run forward with the ball, and exactly what we needed at the time. Kept his cool for the finish too.

I don't rate Zaha but I did worry about Coleman up against him today.
He did have Gordon helping him a lot but that shouldn't take anything away from the excellent job he did all game.

Totally agree, he has never let the club down and probably never will, pisses me off how many times our(online) fans write him off and yet he always proves them wrong
