Some of the comments of his page are disgusting though & there is a portion of our fan base that is beyond toxic causing as much damage to the club as the likes of Bill & co.

That stuff is never acceptable. It's fine to criticise someone but that is just disgusting.

Can't say we've not created enough opportunities. Maupay in the right place, but confidence is woefully poor and he's snatched at them.  He's worked hard for the team though.

In my Facebook feed, a post just appeared that predicts the final PL league table for this season. They have Everton finishing 12th, tied on 48 points with West Ham. I'll take that!

Great to see Dele with such a great smile on his face. 
Hopefully, his head is in a much better place now. They say a problem shared is a problem halved, so with a bit of luck this past couple on months has been a major turning point in his life.
Being given a squad number that has meaning to him is just one more little thing that should give the lad confidence and feel wanted and help keep him in a better place.

I think we would all like to see him come good again and more so in an Everton shirt. The problem being are we a club who can financially cover his costs for a season with potentially seeing no return on the pitch, and are we as a squad able to name a player that may not contribute anything football wise to the team, some tough decisions a head for Dele and the club on this but either way I hope what ever comes along is the right decision for both parties. 

Same old Everton though. Club and fans are the same.
You said you would buy a striker, you lied. The fact that they tried is irrelevant. If you say you are going to then the players you try for just simply aren’t allowed to say no… or it’s the clubs fault. 
 
The club do a lot wrong, and I mean a lot. But we are u realistic in our expectations as fans. 
We want two cover for every position… why shouldn’t we if the likes of Man City can?
We want top targets, again… players should be flattered that we even mention their names. And how dare they turn us down. 
 
I look at Maupay and honestly don’t blame anyone. Most on here looked at his record and thought he could do a job. It hasn’t worked. It happens at Barcelona all the time…. No reason it can’t happen here.
Why don’t we hire that scout that always buys players that fit perfectly into the team, never get injuries, and are low money and wage? Because that scout just doesn’t exist.
Were a mid table team at best. We need to realise that it’s going to take time to build us into a solid team that can fight for the top ten. We need to be patient and let the manager mould his own team. I’m sick of changing every other year. Let’s get an identity back.

Love this, even if the guy is a red. 1992 Ian Broudie wrote a song about his unborn son Riley and in 2023 he's played it at Glastonbury, with Riley playing (mostly rhythm) guitar. Great story.
