I’ll say it again: he must go out on loan to a Championship club. 

Gana and Beto changed that for us tonight.
Gana gets critics, even tonight despite everything he was doing bang on, there was minimal mention until he didn't play in Beto quick enough. But he made a massive difference in plugging the gap in midfield.
Beto looked more ballsy and determined than all the players combined in the first half. He wrestles with anyone in sight. Runs with power and pace. I think the best use of him will be allowing him to run onto the ball. 
You could say 'ah, it's only Doncaster...'. Nah, fuck that. They played us off the park the first half.
A small thing that caught my eye, whilst he had some 'mare moments, it was good too see Godfrey with those marauding forward runs again. Missed them these last couple of years. I've not give up on the kid yet.

That first half is one of the worst half’s of football I’ve seen from us, and it has a lot of competition!
We’re through but we need to be a lot better. 

Look job done - massive concerns over the performance but for the new striker to come in and get that goal is huge. Doubt he trained at all with the lads. 
Garner/Onana - not ready to run the midfield together, not even close.
Danjuma does have the quality to win us games.
Beto - promising. Refreshing to have a striker who can get on the end of different types of chances. Pace in behind & crosses.
Mauapy - I think he can do a job in that role behind a striker, very different option to Doucoure but we played much better football.

Gotta give Beto MoM for that. Changed us completely.

Yes but if we are going to comment on them being shit then we have to comment on the positives. Sure it what you expect, but with so many under whleming it is refreshing to have someone perform as they should and his play (not just goal) has changed the way we play.

I think he has his pace back now it’s lack of games and constant changing of positions. One thing I like about him at CB is he always tight to his man.

Cmon then dyche. You can blame the players (rightly so) but something has to come to the manager - tactics, motivation.

Keane and Myko are liabilities.

The most frustrating part of him being on the pitch was the few times he’s breaking out of the centre circle asking to be played in behind, only for us to play a two yard pass inside and they get their defence settled. Someone in this team needs to learn to play the ball in behind, instead of always looking to get wide and cross into the box. 
 
I really liked that within a few minutes of coming on he had run into a couple of their players and put himself about. This was all I ever wanted to see from Simms (especially in the derby) but never saw it once. If this lad fills out a bit he could be a problem for defenders. 

This lad can be good mate, he can be very good. Dobbin tried his hardest today to beat his man and played very well. But this lad came on and did it first time. I know it’s a cameo, but I was impressed.

I've been a fan of Iwobi since before he was here, and I love his silly running style. But he's yet another incredibly talented player with the grey matter missing, a headless chicken who runs around aimlessly a lot of the time. He really does have all the ability in the world, but he's a Barkley type player; only ever flashes, more dead-end runs or failed basic passes. 
And I'm saying all that as someone who likes him!

He was summed up perfectly for me in the first game of the season when he did a fantastic piece of skill on the wing then cut inside drove towards goal then made a massively over hit pass which went straight to their goalie. My son and I looked at each other and almost in unison said ‘typical Iwobi’
