I can't see him coming back here. Nor do I want him here.
It's funny actually, when he left for Chelsea I remember people immediately saying he'd end up at West Ham, Villa or Newcastle after his career undoubtedly fails at a CL club. With the recent links to Newcastle that could be two of the 3 clubs we predicted

He's not looked out of place since he's been starting, and has had some really good moments. Looks more mature in the way he is playing. I feel he is a little bit worried of making a mistake and sometimes lacks taking the game to the opposition. I'd like to see him try to play with a little more freedom, but I'm very happy with his recent displays, love it when a blue breaks through the academy.

I think Holgate tries to come across as a bit of a hard man, which is completely unfitting for him. He's had a couple of decent spells of form since his arrival here and at one point looked as if he could develop into an important player for us. Unfortunately it's not quite worked out for him and I feel he is yet another player that doesn't have the right mentality to succeed for us. I think at the minute Mina and Keane are our best pairing at CB but Godfrey could develop into something special. I'd like to see us bring in a solid, experienced centre back. Something like Leicester did with Jonny Evans, or like we tried to do with Williams. We don't need anybody flashy in the current system. Someone to steady the ship.

What's the message he's trying to portray by dressing as a school girl? Not to say I'm outraged by it, just confused.
-
Would in part explain his 'lack of form' despite the previous post suggesting otherwise.
-
We saw about 5 minutes ago that feeding the ball into Holgate in central midfield on the half turn is not the play. We don't learn.

Need to get a goal.

What on earth was clear and obvious about that error. Unbelievable.
-
Apparently Delph is warming up to come on.

Honestly struggling to carry on watching this. Never feel like I want to switch off but I can't take the frustration of this much more.
-
A goal before half time makes things a lot easier in the second half.

What on earth has happened since the Watford game?

I'm actually dumfounded on how awful we've become at defending corners over night.

Just now, chicagoblue said:
Alan went to try and close down their defenders and gbamin was alone he had no idea whether to come or stay
Yeah Allan was nowhere to be seen leaving Gbamin out numbered. Unfair to blame him really.

Looks offside. Lifeline if he is we've been awful so far.

Honestly I like Tom Davies, but I can't see him cutting it for us. I still think he'd be a player who is able to play at this level, but not at the end of the table we want to be at. At 23 he's made 139 appearances for us, and hasn't improved. How long should be given to him to prove he is good enough? I'd imagine if he wasn't as influential in the dressing room as he is he might have been sold by now.

Interestingly enough Digne is creating more Key Passes per match than last season at 1.9 (compared to 1.5). I agree he doesn't seem to be at his best this campaign, however DCL's omission through injury can't be helping him.
More to the point, the counter attacking style we have seen so far appears to be more reliant on our forwards creating chances. With such a quick turnaround from back to front it would be difficult for Digne to be in a possession to influence the play. This may be a reason he is being starved of creating chances, however that being said his all round play offensively and defensively hasn't been anywhere near as good as we have seen in the past.

We've needed more players like him over the past few years.

Wolves recent points come against those teams who are struggling in the league, so I hope we're not too mentally defeated already. Losing Doucoure is a huge blow, as he has been one of our stand out performers this season and possibly the most influential player in our squad at this moment in time. If Gomes is fit I'd like to see us try to match them in a 343, although this may not be possible with other injuries in the squad.
I can see us setting up in more or a 4411 again. I'm preying Richarlison is fit to start, to avoid having to watch Rondon try to play football again.
-
I think Rondon has showed enough now, thank god Richarlison is back. I hope we don't see him for a while.
-
Difficult not to laugh.

Another sub which has proven to be effective by Rafa.
-
If the chances today fell to anyone other than Rondon or Iwobi we could have won this match.
