Rather than leave Oviedo to rot until the day comes when Baines 'does' get injured, he occasionally gets utilised in midfield. Why ? Because we don't have money to buy cover for both, and our younger players are not ready, which is why they're on loan, so they can get all the help in the world to come to fruition. The first 11 is not a place for breaking new talent in.

That same Ipswich side are bottom of the Championship at present. If the footballing world was a pc game, it would initially be a level playing field, until, certain teams gained an advantage, by being able to afford better technology, and using the odd hack. Those that are unhappy need to consider the teams that currently finish above us. They aren't better than us because they are managed better, or train harder. They are better than us because they have paid for that priviledge, just like a company can do so on Google search engine listings etc.

The annoying thing for me is that the same players get picked time and time again. We should take a risk with the rest of the season, and the worst that could happen is we would have young players with experience come the end of the season. Give Duffy a go in defence, and Oviedo a go in midfield, or even at RB, and so on.

Neither are comparable Pete. My point is we lose today and fans need to deal with it, as the alternatives are what? Wigan were better than we were, and, everything went right for them. Our team don't have the mental strength to be winners.
