  1. What a load of bollocks lol. There's organised, and there's ridiculous. Life is not meant to be so 'ordered'. Live a bit. Be bold, and daring, and start a bleeding thread you big nancy.
  2. I found the post by typing O-C-D in the search box.
  3. A few of you missed the ' if ' in 'if Moyes goes' lol. Not 'when'.
  4. You searched for a 4 year old thread to paste that link Dunc you sad git ?
  5. If it helps, I think the terminology is top / bottom posting.
  6. I'd kind of like to see players get a lot less too Pete. Sometimes managers and players need to take a step back, and pinch themselves. Moyes "Do I stay at Everton?" could be translated into "Do I stay in one of the highest paid jobs in the world, where I am loved, appreciated, and have allowances made for my mistakes by an enormous amount of people or do I forget what a lucky bastard I am, and be greedy?" I can't believe anybody would risk everything by doing what Moyes is doing in delaying signing. He can still move on, contract or not, if a club want him badly or not. To need to ensure they get him for free, and with it, don't compensate Everton, shows a lack of confidence in his own desirability.
  7. Lol Haf, you're starting to sound like the guy we knew and loved ha ha. Cheer up mucker.
  8. Did either of you two read what Louis wrote? IT WAS A HOAX !
  9. Lol Zoo mate. Heitinga has been poor this season. Nobody should give a hoot how good he was in the past when these guys are commanding the wages they are. They are paid to be in form, and he has been careless this season.
  10. All credibility was lost there lol. Distin could run backwards and be quicker than Heitinga.
  11. Post of the day Haf. You're talking sense at last ha ha.
  12. Sorry Pete. I didn't mean to be defensive. Wife just cost me my no claims. Dig away mate. And I expect lots of posts from you 'all' on my site ha ha.
  13. I think we peaked very early, and then failed to maintain that success. I don't think our early season form was necessarily anything more than things going right, which in turn inspires confidence. Turn the clock back to some very poor decisions against us, and injuries to Mirallas, Hibbert, and Gibson, and it's easy to see how momentum was lost. Moyes needs to make the players believe that the season is still there to be a success now, and if we're professional enough, we should respond. Our transfer window and Moyes' contract has disheartened the fans recently, and a few of us need to calm, and recharge.
  14. Our game in hand is against Arsenal, and that's a great match to have in the bag providing we win it, as it would take us clear of both Liverpool, and, Arsenal, should points be the same. We also still have to play Spurs and Liverpool. It's down to us how we finish. It's there if we want it.
  15. Perhaps, but bear in mind we have only lost 5 games all season, and only UTD and City have lost less. We're not exactly in meltdown.
  16. BTW ... Moyes 'has' a top job in England, or hadn't you noticed ?
  17. What do you base your choices on? Martinez - New to management, with a short spell at Swansea, and currently in charge at Wigan fighting for relegation 'again' ? "Wigan have no money" I hear folk say, thus defending their inability to cement a safe position at the top level. Neither do Everton, but Moyes has worked the market well with what little he has. "Wigan play great football under Martinez" folk say, yet they are in danger of relegation. Meanwhile, Everton are capable of good football too, some of which raises expectancy levels through the roof. Meanwile, Mr Solks has managed but a single club, and though doing ok, is not exactly setting the world alight either. It would take quite a manager to better Moyes, so fans should be careful what they wish for.
  18. I think folk are reading too much into things. Fellaini has been one of our better players this year, while many of the team have been passengers. Yes, I think much has gone to his head, like any young player in the spotlight, but it's foolish for fans to turn on him. We need to get past the Wigan match now, and offer postive vibes for the rest of the season. As Evertonians, we always think the worst.
  19. We still have much to be positive about for the remainder of the season. Our chances of Europe are very much alive, especially that we have to play the other teams around us, so if we get back on the positive track, it's still in our hands.
  20. Pete, you keep having little digs about my having a site. I was building sites as early as 2004. Please know that my relationship with the guys here is above board, and MikeO was the first person informed that I was into building websites. Also know that I offered the site to Toffeetalk to help them out, and would still help them out with a site, and it gives me an interest and allows me to express myself and be creative, which I can't do here at member level. If folk want to post there, feel free, they're very welcome, but I post here too, and have done for a long time, so maybe lighten up with the scandal approach?

  22. The same guys who debate how big our club is, and how rich our history is, and how we should be getting silverware and top 4 status every year, then put a value on the club that is not close to top clubs. A little hypocritical ?
  23. Got a quote box back. Do you have a setting to make the cursor default below the quote, rather than above ?
