  1. Those 5 designs leave me shaking my head, realising that the people in charge at our club employ fricking idiots, who think their fans are fricking idiots too. I hope the Pussy Cat Dolls take them to court for being silly twats.
  2. Exactly. We could call Man City 'Everton' instead, and then all go and support them, happy in the knowledge that the only important thing is winning.
  3. I don't know Pete. If you are the best, where is the challenge? I have supported Everton for the reason that I wanted them to achieve against the odds, and took satisfaction from their success when they did that, and I enjoy us not being the best, as once you are at the top, the only way is down.
  4. England game : The commentators annoy me with their constant criticism of San Marino. What exactly do they expect them to do against top flight professional footballers ? As for our team, It's time we knew our best eleven, and stuck to it as closely as possible. We're not ruthless enough with selection, and if we're ever to win something, we need to have a team that are used to playing together. Why is Lampard in the team? Hasn't he had enough caps? Get shut of the old dead wood, and choose eleven players, and play them every match. Far too much of a lottery which team will play, and we'll never be the best doing that. As soon as we hit a good team, our arses fall out of our pants.
  5. I thought he was lucky to win the x-factor.
  6. The only way to judge Mucha is to drop Howard and give him a go. Howard has no entitlement to the job, and the only way to know if we should keep players is to play them. Howard isn't getting any younger, and keepers are hard to get.
  7. Not when you see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEMR2lMirMM
  8. He can't hate Chelsea that much, as he was glad they beat West Ham despite moving 3 points further away. Closet Chav ? Not sure how 'anybody' can support a team that have bypassed 100 years of history by buying the league, be it City, Chelsea, or anybody else. I could only ever support a champion if that champion came from effort and perseverance. I could never support a champion that 'took' the title. It would be like being invaded by a foreign king, or having your entire family replaced by more trendy folk, and told to love them, such has any roots regarding history been replaced at City. What I don't get was why didn't they just create a new club, and leave the old City be? Why? Because they needed a name, and they needed free entry to the top tier of football. They couldn't care less about City as a club, and the fans let them do it.
  9. Edit: I've removed my comment as it was sharp and unnecessary. People can make their own minds up about why you created the thread. It's not for me to protect others, so let folk learn for themselves.
  10. I don't have a problem with Matt. I only have a problem with what he says, thinks, and does. Everything else about him is adorable.
  11. I like you Romey because you are naive (in a nice way) and far too trusting of wolves in sheep's clothing.
  12. Admit it was a piss take and you'll gain a little credibility back. I'm not explaining why it was, as that would be outrageously insensitive of me, but let's just say it was 'laughing at' not with.
  13. Nah, mate. The thread was a piss take by Matt, which I thought was mean, as I'm fond of DK, and Dalz was maybe a bit naive, and dived in, but in Dalz's defence, nobody took the opportunity to appreciate it, or offer any response, so it's no wonder he stopped. I thought it was actually a decent read, and a good feature, and well done to Dalziel for biting his tongue and sticking with it.
  14. I don't mind a bit of banter with other fans, but I'd like to see how we approach Stoke, especially as we have a few missing. I hope Moyes stays positive. I'd like to see a 4-4-2 as Vic deserves his place.
  15. Oops, sorry Haf ... I just automatically presumed .... A few from the site: Everton beat Liverpool 2-0 ON THIS DAY in 1970. The win, at Anfield was witnessed by 54,496 fans at Anfield and gave the Evertonians bragging rights in the city until the next derby. Joe Royle and Alan Whittle scored the goals. Everton beat Leeds United 3-1 ON THIS DAY in 1991. A crowd of 12,603 were at Goodison to see the Second Leg of the Zenith Data Systems Cup, Northern Final. After the first leg ended in a 3-3 draw the second was particularly tight. A Tony Cottee equaliser sent the game into extra time. Cottee scored again, along with John Ebbrell, to give the Blues a place in the grand final against Crystal Palace. Doesn't Dalziel already do this though Haf ?
  16. Not my thing regarding game play, but might be yours.
  17. Ha ha, just saw that. I'm sure it must be an anagram of something incredibly interesting.
  18. The reason amny of our squad are kids, is because we have to have them to make the numbers up. It 'isn't' because they're good enough.
  19. Isn't it good news that we are looking at fresh players behind the scenes?
