They should give Rickie Lambert a game. Playing players from the top sides is a recipe for disaster, as they are often bolstered at club level by the top players in the world. Useless players tonight were Carrick, Johnson, Milner and Welbeck, and our defence weren't much better. We need some steel in defence. Maybe try Shawcross, who I'd like at Everton.

If our manager changes, our financial circumstances won't. Get the wrong guy in and in a few years we could be looking at the wrong end of the league. Other fans must think our supporters are out of their minds, but then the lads who get to the match aren't always the same lads shouting the odds on the forums.

We are short in defence, so it would be a decent move for a player who played his best stuff with us. Duffy is a kid, and will get his chance eventually, be it sooner or later, and that depends on him to prove himself. At 21, he shouldn't be too concerned about not being in a starting position. His career is only beginning. Distin is good for a year or two yet, so Shane needs to keep his nose in the door, and hope for a chance, but no rush. Heitinga isn't quick enough for the Prem, and I think he will leave in the summer.

Our lads have been getting call ups, right throughout the squad, so they can't really be playing shite. We have this every year. Lads who thought we were going to win the league suddenly get itchy feet, and want changes. Maybe Wigan will escape relegation, or maybe they'll win the cup which I hope they do, but we are still above the Shite, and 2 points off 5th. We are also only 6 points off 4th with a game in hand, which just happens to be against Arsenal, which is perfect for us, and we still have to play Spurs and the Shite, so we really could get 4th, but heck, sack Moyes, and let's get the manager of a team in a relegation struggle?
