Why would any club interested in signing Moyes make their intentions known to the media? Moyes is contracted at Everton, and until he isn't, he strikes me as the type of guy who would respect the club, and not discuss the situation with the press, or anybody else.

Everton were themselves relegation fodder when Moyes first took over.

The needs of the game of football should not be confused with the needs of fans. Like the chicken and the egg, the game comes first, the fans second. Too many fans think it is the other way around.
