Bit of a silly argument if we're honest. Martinez now has the chance to show what he can do, and with more money than we've had for a while. Why not let him prove 'himself' to his critics, and stop taking shots at Moyes.

Far too much undermining Moyes and his work for my liking. I tend to agree Dunc on many things and I have to say he isn't too far off the money where my own opinions lie; call it an age thing; who knows. We didn't 'always' pay top wages. Our wage bill had a structure, and was very strict until about 2010 when we raised it for 'was it Arteta'?

I think that was around just before I got into gaming. My first real game was Farcry (wonderful game for anybody with a so so pc btw) around 2004 and we were heavily involved in gaming by 2005 with our own clans, leagues, forums, and servers etc. I don't think I could play Wolfenstein now though and get inspired, as it's just so old as far as graphics go. Besides, I have about 150 games, lots I've not played yet for my sins ha ha, so only so many hours in the day lol.

How many are guilty but never hit the headlines though Bailey? Look at our England captain for example. He gets away with everything, from leg breaking tackles, diving, influencing referees, swearing at the ref, not to mention his private life being less than squeaky. He has rarely received awful press, and is given the captaincy. We are such a nation of double standards and hypocrisy.

Also: It will be interesting to see how he applies his tactics with a better team. I want to see us going for the throat against teams and be out of sight by half time, and not playing safe too much.

In the interview, Martinez says that if he sells a big player, he will always bring 2 or 3 in to stay in front, but the transfers show that his squad was getting smaller.
