This thread appears to talk about him coming, but nothing relating to him during his time here, as though it didn't occur. Bit strange ?

I thought the lad did really well for himself all things considered. He held his nerve in some big games, and we weren't the greatest team in the world at that time. We really don't know the ins and outs of what happened, but he's still young at 23, and I wish him well.

We are a striker up on last year, and nobody has said "That's your lot". What an opportunity to be positive if ever there was one. We were all very impressed with him when he was at Wigan. I think we owe it to Martinez to let him make these decisions and back him. Positive fans = positive players.

I don't think the Chelsea goal was that big a deal in defining the guy. Sometimes things go for you, and that goal was one of those times, but overall, he impressed me when he played and some of his touches were pure class. It was a damn travesty that he was sold for a lousy 4 million, and I was not a happy bunny at all, nor do I think most fans were too chuffed. If he is going for £800,000 then let's get the guy back.
