  1. You come on our forum and have the nerve to wish relegation upon us? Jeesh. Some people !
  2. Bitter Evertonians huh? Give it a rest mate. Can't a player leave Everton just for once without fans having a go?
  3. Arsenal are a huge move, with regular title challenges, European football, and top class players. They have one of the most gifted managers in the world, and he is replacing the most productive midfield player in Europe. Arsenal are also one of the best footballing sides in world football. Many players would jump at his opportunity. His wages are his own business. Different clubs have different wage bands, and as you have no proof of anything, yet feel it necessary to call a popular Evertonian a cunt within hours of him leaving is a bit naive to say the least.
  4. You were ok until you got your big pay day, and then did little to justify it. I think you going to Arsenal is good for both clubs. Don't have a problem with the deal. Will Cahill want to stay now?
  5. He's a Blue for a while now. Get behind him and make him feel at home.
  6. Yakubu must have been on huge wages, or surely we could offer him what Blackburn are offering him, and his fee was disappointingly low, which strikes me that there must be clauses. Arteta has been a liability for some time, both with financial resources and poor performances, so I'm quite happy for him to leave. Duffy on loan for a month will be good for the lad, and it wouldn't surprise me if we lose Jags in January. Beckford leaving has gobsmacked me. There has to have been arguments for this to happen, and it will no doubt come out. Can't understand that one. Don't know much about any players coming in, other than there is now huge pressure on the new striker to deliver. I trust Moyes though, so will gladly look to find positives as the various news comes in.
  7. What are your thoughts so far? IN : Eric Dier - loan confirmed Denis Stracqualursi - loan confirmed Royston Drenthe - loan Awaiting confirmation OUT: Arteta - Arsenal Yakubu - Blackburn Beckford - Leicester Duffy - Scunthorpe - loan confirmed
  8. Why would we sign another defender?
  9. Why sell 2 strikers, and buy a player like Pav, who probably earns more than Yak and Becks combined? It's not logical. He scores less than both players. Arteta won't go for 10m btw
  10. Back on topic, we all know Arteta hasn't been in form for a long time, and to be honest, he only really hit form briefly during his Everton stay. An in form Arteta is superb. An out of form Arteta is nothing we can't replace. If Arteta is to turn his form round, it's time to move to a bigger club. No matter what we feel, 10m is quite a profit. He hasn't gone yet, but I'm 'much' more disappointed to lose Beckford. I feel the new striker will be under 'enormous' pressure to stay fit and score goals.
  11. FACT : Arteta is still an Everton player until the league declare otherwise.
  12. I agree with Marco. Quit the bickering. This isn't Kipper. Have some respect for the other members.
  13. SSN have 4 players names in our 'out' column. Arteta Yakubu Beckford Jagielka I've been offline for an hour tying something up. Has Jags gone?
  14. Lads, a player like Arteta won't have been sold in a last minute rush. Long before Wenger sold Fabregas, he will have approached Moyes regarding Arteta. Wenger is not stupid. Moyes is not stupid. Both will have a plan B. We've seen Wengers. Now we will see Moyes'.
  15. Chelsea offered 40m for Modric? Has he risen to the top without the rest of football noticing?
  16. It was Moyes' decision. Nobody leaves without his say so.
  17. You can't blame Arteta, given our clubs current situation,
  18. I reckon he's one of the best natural strikers in the game. Yes - I'm bothered. Put him in United he would bag 40 goals a season.
