The way Louis Walsh and his panel of 'who on earth are they trying to kid' judges try to make out the acts are fantastic should be a hanging offence. I've never seen such awful attempts to justify complete and utter rubbish since the 'last time' I watched X-Factor. Honestly!! Ban the show before any further damage is done, and exile that muppet Walsh to a far off planet where he belongs.

Missed the match today, but sounds like we put up a better fight. Was the performance better ?

Actually it's working on some but not others. Could be the quality of the download. Not really flying out of the screen, but definitely 3d depth to everything. Quite nice.

I ordered a few sets of basic blue / red 3D glasses, and they arrived today, so I turned on the 3D Nvidia setting, and voila, 3d. Now then, I don't know if it's down to anything in particular, but my screen is only 60hz to my knowledge even if my pc is all very high end, so I'm presuming if your card allows 3d, then you can do it too. Bat man works in 3d, but quite dark with the glasses on, so might have to adjust the settings. I tried to download a few 3d films, but not getting any success so far, so perhaps different things need different hardware / settings / glasses etc. Glasses only cost me £1.99 including delivery, but are the black frame ones, so a good deal. Any advice regarding trying to get the films to work would be welcome.

Predator was something completely different, designed for console. It never reached pc. It was a spin off if you like, but the FC1 and FC2 are gems, particularly FC1. For me, the enjoyable thing is the scenery, which I like better than the game play itself. FC 1 FC2

Where did you get that from mate? I've not seen a concise biography of him anywhere that didn't seem like rumour. Is there any factual evidence? Just curious as to how all these crimes can go unnoticed if they were true. There are many people in the world who say it was all a conspiracy, and he is innocent, and many who say he is guilty. The wife likes Egypt. To me it looks like a holiday from hell lol. Goa I've thought about. It ticks all my boxes, but not sure about food. Neither of us are big on Sea food, but curries I don't mind lol. Do you need injections etc for there? Also is it safe? I can do without being beheaded or kidnapped for money I don't have. I'd rather not be pestered by beggars all day either, as that can be frightening for the wife. Vietnam / Thailand etc all sound great too, but again concerned about safety.

Far cry 1 is a wonderful game too. It's one of the few games I play time and again on single player. If you like beautiful scenery, you will love the Far Cry games. FC 1 is a paradise island, that is enchanting to be inside, and FC 2 is Africa, with some of the best graphics ever produced in a game. FC1 is Jack Carvers journey to find Val, amidst soldiers, evil scientists, volcanos, and mutant monsters. FC2 is a merc in Africa working for both sides. Awesome games. You can get FC1 on Ebay for a few quid or even Steam for less than a fiver. Even though it was 2004 it is still great graphics and well worth it. The game that started all others if you like. You need to apply the patches to at least 1.33 for Windows 7 and Directx 11 etc. If you play online, you'll need to register an account on the Ubi.com website. There is a Farcry 3 coming next year which is expected to blow the socks off any game that has come before it.

I've just watched the film. I saw the thread and it was a good opportunity to mention the film. Absolute classic if you haven't seen it. Didn't really bother to look at the date.

They wouldn't sing that stuff if they knew what the Jewish families went through. The film Schindlers list is a hard hitting film, but true. Terrible events.
