  1. I'd never heard the word 'lid' in my life until I read Grandoldteam.
  2. Everton are bigger than both Yakubu or Saha. Both had their chances and both scored eff all. Saha will be gone at the end of the season, and we can all move on.
  3. Anybody buying 'Brink' while it's on offer from Steam for only £3.74 ?
  4. Yakubu scores 4. Flipping just lost 8 points in FF with City conceding.
  5. It's all opinions Pete. Nobody is right or wrong as long as we remember this. Facts are something completely different, and I don't believe we've been looking to discuss them.
  6. Suarez stats http://soccernet.espn.go.com/player/_/id/125088/luis-su%C3%A1rez?cc=5739
  7. I was under the opinion he was regarded by many as the best striker in the world at the time of the World Cup, due to his goals at club level. There were mentions of him being a bit of a whiner, but he was everybody's target. His hand ball at the WC created many enemies, but probably more because it was against a popular African team, rather than against the Germans or Argentinians.
  8. You can view his stats here http://soccernet.espn.go.com/player/_/id/19544/steven-pienaar?cc=5739 The problem with stats though is that they only show goals or assists etc, and don't show a guy dribbling around 10 men, or that perfect through ball, or goal line clearance etc etc. It would be interesting how many times he won motm on this very forum, while he was with us, or at least in his last few seasons.
  9. Well, I guess we all see things differently as fans, and I'll put this down to a good example of the concept.
  10. Slightly off topic, but Vellios has scored only 1 less than Suarez, while Suarez has 1026 league minutes to Vellios' 163.
  11. Pete that's very harsh mate. Are you sure you're not just angry at him for leaving? If he didn't deserve any credit, why was he voted player of the year? Surely he must have put himself out there? For me, he came into his own after Arteta was injured, and had a superb season. A bit less of an impact in his last season, but even when he was leaving, he still worked hard for us when he could have taken things easy. I'm not keen on him as a person, but he's a good football player when at Everton.
  12. I can't explain how Matt, I'm not that clever, but we lost 2 sites to hackers round about 2005/6. It wasn't fun. At the time we were advised regarding several security measures, and galleries were one of the topics discussed.

    Couple of laughs.

Is that how you tongue tie a brown nose?
  14. Galleries offer a big security risk to a forum or website, especially the free ones. I like pictures though, so thank you for adding one.
  15. I think though Pienaar didn't score to many, he had a hand in pretty much everything else, and I'd rather have him than not have him, that's for sure. We won't get him back though.
  16. Is that straight up Pete? Helps if you can hear the words with poetry etc, so can't see how it works well with heavy accents, if you dig.

Lol, you're a saucy ole git Bill.
  18. That's rich coming from a guy called 'smeg' head lol. No sense of humour? Start the day with a smile dude.
  19. Astro .......... Good luck dude, but rap ain't music imho, and should have it's own classification.
  20. Any chance of a sloppy blow job while your wind pipe is nice and lubricated?
  21. I don't think it really matters regarding opinion on footballing matters who does or doesn't go to matches, however I do think it matters regarding football politics. The amount of Kenwright out, or Moyes out posts you see on the net is bad enough, but when you hear or read it from fans who don't , or have never been to a match, or even stepped foot in the country like many, it's a bit much. It equates to protesting against Tescos store policies, when you do all your browsing on line, yet don't buy anything. Discuss their brands by all means, but should you really be talking about who they employ etc? I don't like the Blue Union, and often criticise their actions, but they go to the matches, where many of us don't / can't / won't, so they are entitled to moan amongst themselves if they want to, or protest at the said matches even if other match goers disagree. They're not entitled to tell the club what to do though, which some of them don't seem to realise. If they're not entitled to do it, and they 'do' go to the match, I'm fairly sure all the Internet moaners who have never stepped foot in Goodison aren't either lol. Politics is best left to politicians while fans chat about on the pitch matters. I have to agree with Dunc to a degree in that there is often a different mind set between those who have, and those who have not.
  22. Lol. Your general knowledge is very impressive chaps if you can answer those.
  23. I'd take loads of their players to be honest Bailey. I think they have real quality now all over the pitch. Downing would work well in our team I feel.
