  1. Yeah, I'm thinking at least 3 or 4. Possibly a few loan deals, and one or two permanent deals. I can't see us bringing in big names though, as we need to spread what cash we might have out.
  2. Central defender. Seems to be well rated.
  3. I'm sure we can think of a few if we try.
  4. I kid you not mate, though it was with protection and legal etc. Mind you, I always got that anyway. Insurance is a scam. It should be investigated. Most accidents cost a lot less to put right than we pay out.
  5. That has to be a big pat on the back for Moyes and hopefully a big boost for the team. Europe? It's back on. Well done Davey.
  6. £600 for a 10 year old 1.4? They can take a running jump. Gonna buy her a bus pass.
  7. It also shows our fans that there is more to worry about in life than football results. Got to feel for those worse off than ourselves.
  8. I love Everton Mogsy, but I'm not going to buy a shirt for somebody who doesn't. I'm not rich. I guess I could buy her an XXL one though.
  9. Swap your rats for the wifes car insurance renewal policy.
  10. The film. I was a bit surprised to see a big 12 inch cock swinging about from the 'self falatio' scene though without warning. How did they manage to do that with a certificate '15' ?
  11. How do you get rats in a loft? In a cellar, I could understand, but the loft? Did they hang glide onto your roof?
  12. My daughter bought us the Wii fitness thing a week or so ago. It was a lovely thought but I wouldn't recommend it to anybody who is used to gaming. It's as though technology has stepped back in time to the days of cartoon characters, and ping pong style games. As for Everton shirts, unfortunately 'EVIL' struck some years back, and my heart sank as she walked in, and I discovered the colour of here 'new football top' was not blue.
  13. I remember you mentioning that. I was the same last year, and bought an Xbox complete with plenty of games etc, but money is a little tighter this year, or rather 'I'm' being tighter lol.
  14. If you are a parent, you'll know how hard it can be to think of things to get your kids, or even the wife. Mine is 16 years old lol, so doesn't come cheap. What Christmas gift ideas have you been pondering over, and have you seen any bargains? Always checking the UKhotdeals website at this time of year, and with companies like very.co.uk, there are often first time buyer discounts etc if you search for them.
  15. Laughed at the Inbetweeners last night.
  16. We can't stop planning for the future, just because we need players 'now'.
  17. The GOT Clique was a piss take against the Partizan Walton mob.
  18. I don't have anything against Irvine 'or' Round, but we played awful football under Irving, even if we 'did' hit the top 4. Our best football has been under Round by a mile, even if our league placings have been affected by the big spenders.
  19. They're determined to pass the buck. The sooner we have a bigger squad the sooner both men will be able to do their jobs.
  20. Ah, it's ok. I see Rhino was placed in charge when Ferguson was sacked too. Silly me.
  21. Independant too: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/david-unsworth-becomes-caretaker-at-preston-2172232.html Did they work together or something?
  22. Why are loads of sites claiming Darren Ferguson has been sacked as opposed to Brown? Just who was the mystery manager? David Unsworth made Preston North End caretaker boss Unsworth joined Preston's backroom staff in September 2009 Preston have appointed first-team coach David Unsworth as caretaker boss following Darren Ferguson's sacking. Former Everton defender Unsworth, 37, will take charge for Saturday's Championship clash at home to Derby. The club also confirmed assistant manager Kevin Russell has been sacked from his position at Deepdale. Ferguson, 38, was dismissed on Wednesday, less than a year after taking charge, with North End bottom of the Championship. Ferguson told the League Managers Association website: "It is obviously very disappointing. More time was needed to achieve our objectives. "I believed in what we were doing at the club from top to bottom and that we had the ability to turn things around." Chairman Maurice Lindsay said Unsworth's appointment was a good one for Preston. 606: DEBATE Have your say on this temporary appointment "We are delighted David has agreed to take care of the club at a difficult time - it couldn't be in better hands," Lindsay stated. "David is a Preston man. He loves the club and is one of the most enthusiastic people in football. He will have the full support of the club and the players." Unsworth joined Preston as an under-13 but signed schoolboy terms with Everton when he turned 14. Meanwhile Manchester United, managed by Ferguson's father Sir Alex, have recalled Joshua King and Ritchie de Laet from their respective loan deals at Deepdale. The duo were due to be available to Preston for their next two games but United have exercised a clause allowing them an early recall.
